PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK-PAIR-SHARE TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR DAN KEAKTIFAN BELAJAR PADA PEMBELAJARAN PERENCANAAN KONSTRUKSI PERUMAHAN KELAS XI TEKNIK KONSTRUKSI PERUMAHAN DI SMKN 1 KEDIRI
This study aims to examine the effect of the Think-Pair-Share (TPS) learning model on students' learning outcomes and engagement. The TPS model is a cooperative learning approach designed to increase student involvement through three main stages: thinking independently (Think), discussing with a partner (Pair), and sharing the discussion results in class (Share). Data analysis was conducted by comparing pretest and posttest results and analyzing the improvement in learning outcomes using N-Gain. The results show a significant improvement in students' learning outcomes in the experimental class compared to the control class. The maximum average score improvement in the experimental class reached 50 points, while the control class only increased by 35 points. The average N-Gain value for the experimental class was 0.40, while the control class was 0.05. Student engagement in the experimental class also showed good results with a percentage of 67.63%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Think-Pair-Share learning model significantly affects the improvement of students' learning outcomes but does not have a significant impact on students' learning engagement. It is recommended that teachers consider other learning models that may be more effective in enhancing student engagement.Keywords : cooperative learning learning activeness learning outcomes Think Pair Share
