The Influence of Career Motivation, Financial Encouragement And Perceptions of The Cost of Education On Student Interest In Attending Teacher Professional Education
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui, bagaimana pengaruh,motivasi karir, dorongan finansial dan persepsi mengenai biaya pendidikan terhadap minat mahasiswa Pendidikan Akuntansi dalam mengikuti Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG). Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif. Datanya sendiri menggunakan data primer, diambil langsung oleh peneliti dengan kuisioner berskala likert. Teknik purposive sampling dipilih untuk digunakan pada penelitisn ini dan sebanyak 98 mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Akuntansi angkatan 2017 di Universitas Negeri Surabaya sebagai sampelnya. Menggunakan metode analisis regresi berganda untuk menganalisa data yang didapat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa; (1) Motivasi karir memberi pengaruh secara signifikan dan positif terhadap minat mahasiswa untuk mengikuti Pendidikan Profesi Guru. (2) Dorongan finansial memberi pengaruh secara signifikan dan positif terhadap minat mahasiswa untuk mengikuti Pendidikan Profesi Guru. (3) Persepsi mengenai biaya.pendidikan tidak memberi pengaruh secara signifikan terhadap minat mahasiswa untuk mengikuti Pendidikan Profesi Guru. (4) Motivasi karir, dorongan finansial dan biaya pendidikan secara bersamaan memberi pengaruh terhadap minat masiswa Prodi Pendidikan Akuntansi 2017 dalam mengikuti Pendidikan Profesi Guru.
This research intending to find out how the influence, career motivation, financial encouragement, and perceptions of the cost of education on the interest of Accounting Education students in participating in Teacher Professional Education (PPG). This research uses a quantitative research design. The data itself uses primary data, taken directly by the researcher using a Likert scale questionnaire. The purposive sampling technique was choosen to be used in this research and as many as 98 students majoring in Accounting Education class of 2017 at the State University of Surabaya as the sample. Using multiple regression analysis method to analyze the data obtained. The results showed that;(1) Career motivation has a significant and positive influence on student interest in participating in Teacher Professional Education. (2) Financial incentives have a significant and positive influence on student interest in participating in Teacher Professional Education. (3) Perceptions about the cost of education do not have a significant effect on students' interest in participating in Teacher Professional Education. (4) Career motivation, financial encouragement, and education costs simultaneously affecting the interest of 2017 Accounting Education Study Program students in participating in Teacher Professional Education.
