Penelitian penerapan media ular tangga edukasi ini berfokus pada pengembangan kemampuan mengenal kata dan mengenal konsep bilangan yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak penerapan media ular tangga edukasi pada anak kelompok A di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal I Jombang Kabupaten Jombang. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada hasil observasi awal yang menunjukkan kurang efektifnya guru menggunakan media pembelajaran, sehingga kemampuan mengenal kata dan mengenal konsep bilangan masih rendah.
Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yang menggambarkan data dalam bentuk analisis yang bersifat narasi, dan deskripsi perkembangan yang akan dikembangkan adalah kemampuan mengenal kata dan mengenal konsep bilangan pada anak kelompok A di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal I Jombang sebanyak 14 anak. Tehnik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk memperkuat hasil penelitian.
Hasil penelitian di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal I Jombang ditemukan pada kegiatan mengenal kata dan konsep bilangan pada anak kelompok A dengan menerapkan media ular tangga edukasi menarik minat anak dalam menghitung dadu, menghitung gambar pada papan, menyebutkan kata pada gambar hingga menyebutkan huruf penyusun kata. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memanfaatkan media ular tangga edukasi sebagai media pembelajaran yang efektif dalam kegiatan menegnal kata dan mengenal konsep bilangan di Satuan Pendidikan dan menjadi sumber referensi bagi peneliti lain untuk menggunakan dan mengembangkan media ular tangga edukasi menjadi lebih menarik.

This research on the application of educational snakes and ladders media focuses on developing the ability to recognize words and recognize the concept of numbers which aims to determine the impact of applying educational snakes and ladders media to group A children in Kindergarten Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal I Jombang, Jombang Regency. This research is based on the results of preliminary observations which show that teachers are less effective in using instructional media, so that the ability to recognize words and recognize the concept of numbers is still low.
The research was carried out using a descriptive qualitative approach which described the data in the form of narrative analysis, and descriptions of the development that would be developed were the ability to recognize words and recognize the concept of numbers in group A children at Kindergarten Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal I Jombang as many as 14 children. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation to strengthen research results.
The results of research at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal I Jombang Kindergarten found in activities to recognize words and the concept of numbers in group A children by applying educational snakes and ladders media to attract children's interest in counting dice, counting pictures on the board, mentioning words in pictures to mentioning the letters that make up words. This research is expected to be able to utilize educational snakes and ladders media as an effective learning medium in learning words and recognizing the concept of numbers in the Education Unit and become a reference source for other researchers to use and develop educational snakes and ladders media to make it more interesting.
