IMPLEMENTATION OF THE 4 C DIRECT LEARNING MODEL (Critical Thinking, Creativity, Character, and Communication) IN LEARNING TO WRITE POETRY CLASS IV STUDENTS OF SDN KEDURUS III / 430 SURABAYA.
Keterampilan 4C merupakan kecakapan hidup yang perlu dikembangkan melalui pendidikan yang terdiri dari berpikir kritis, kreativitas, karakter, dan komunikasi. Keempat keterampilan tersebut merupakan kecakapan hidup abad 21 yang sedang dikembangkan oleh pemerintah melalui program pembelajaran kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan langkah pembelajaran dan produk hasil implementasi model pembelajaran langsung bermuatan 4 C (Critical thinking, Creativity, Character, Communication) dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi siswa kelas IV SDN Kedurus III/430 Surabaya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi proses pembelajaran, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas IV sudah memiliki keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, karakter, dan komunikasi dengan kategori yang baik melalui kegiatan pembelajaran puisi.

4C skills are life skills that need to be developed through education consisting of critical thingking, creativity, character, and communication. The four skills are 21 st century life skills that are being developed by the government through the 2013 curriculum learning program. This studyaaims to describeethe steps of learning and the products of the implementation of direct learning models (Critical thinking, Creativity, Character, and Communication) in learning to write poetry for grade 4 students of kedurus III/430 Surabaya. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques uses observation of the learning process, tests, and documentation. The results of the study showed that the fourth grade students already had critical thingking skills, creativity, character, and communication with good categoriesthrough poetry learning activities.
