SUPERVISI AKADEMIK TERHADAP KINERJA GURU SEKOLAH DASAR
ACADEMIC SUPERVISION ON THE PERFORMANCE OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHERS
Kinerja guru sekolah dasar dalam mengelola proses pembelajaran masih perlu adanya perhatian dari kepala sekolah melalui kegiatan superivisi akademik. Supervisi akademik dilaksanakan dalam proses pembinaan, pendampingan serta pengembangan pada kinerja guru. Tujuan penulisan artikel ilmiah ini yaitu untuk menganalisis supervisi akademik terhadap kinerja guru sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur penelitian kepustakaan melalui jurnal dengan mengumpulkan data serta referensi terkait dengan topik artikel. Hasil mengkaji jurnal serta beberapa referensi ditemukan bahwa peran kepala sekolah dalam mengefektifkan kinerja guru yaitu dengan melakukan supevisi akademik. Kepala Sekolah sebagai supervisor memiliki wewenang untuk memberikan pembinaan serta pengembangan terhadap kinerja guru sekolah dasar. Supervisi akademik oleh kepala sekolah dilakukan supaya membantu guru dalam memperbaiki maupun membenahi proses pembelajaran yang lebih berkualitas. Adapun tahapan yang terdapat dalam supervisi akademik yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, serta evaluasi. Dengan adanya tahapan tersebut bertujuan agar supervisi akademik berjalan secara terpola dan terarah sehingga dapat mencapai apa yang telah ditargetkan. Supervisi akademik kepala sekolah berdampak positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja guru sehingga dapat memberikan kontribusi secara nyata terhadap meningkatnya kinerja guru sekolah dasar. Dalam melakukan supervisi akademik kepala sekolah menggunakan teknik supervisi akademik serta berpedoman pada prinsip supervisi akademik.

The performance of elementary school teachers in managing the learning process still needs attention from the principal through academic supervision activities. Academic supervision is carried out in the process of coaching and developing teacher performance. The purpose of writing this scientific article is to analyze academic supervision in improving the performance of elemntary school teachers. The method used is literature study literature reserach through journals by collecting data and reference related to the topic of the article. The result of reviewing journals and several references found that the role of school principals in improving tecaher performance is by doing academic supervision. The principal as a supervisor has the authority to provid guidance and development to the performance of elemntary school teachers. Academic supervision by the principal is carried out in order to assist techers in improving and fixing a higher quality learning process. The stages contained in academic supervision are the planning, implementation, and evaluation. With these stages, it is intended that academic supervision runs in a patterned and directed manner so that it can achive what has been targeted. Principal academic supervision has a positive and significant impact on teacher job satisfaction so that it can contribute significantly to improving the performance of elemntary school teachers. In conducting academic supervision, the principak uses academic supervision techniques and is guided by the principal of academic supervision.
