Saat ini Indonesia memiliki kualitas pendidikan yang rendah. Dibuktikan dengan adanya Assement yang dilakukan oleh UNESCO pada tahun 2017 dimana Indonesia memperoleh peringkat 180 dari 187 negara. Penelitian lain menunjukkan hasil yang tidak jauh berbeda dilakukan oleh The Gguardian 2016, Indonesia memperoleh peringkat 57 dari 65 negara. Cukup luas dan kompleks jika dicari adalah akar masalah dari sistem pendidikan, namun ranting dari permasalahan pendidikan saat ini salah satunya dengan minimnya alat media yang digunakan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Setiap penelitian mempunyai tujuan maka dari itu tujuan penelitian ini adalah melihat dan mendeskripsikan pengaruh penggunan media Trans Book terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran IPA khususnya materi ekosistem di SDN II Sumengko.

Pada penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian eksperimen kuantitatif. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan desain penelitian  eksperimen Quasi Experimental Design. Dengan menggunakan3 jenis The Non-Equivalent3 Controlc Grup Design. Populasi dalam penelitian  ini adalah SDN II Sumengko, SDN I  Sumengko dan SDN I Pasinan dengan jumlah 142 siswa. Sedangkan sampel yang di gunkanan adalah SDN II Sumengko dengan jumlah 57 siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen, sedangkan SDN I Pasinan dengan jumlah 50 siswa sebagai kelompok kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes dan observasi. Analisis data instrumen dilakukan dengan uji validitas instrumen dan uji reliabilitas, sedangkan analisis data hasil penelitian dilakukan dengan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji hipotesis dan uji n-gain.Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes dan observasi. Hasil uji validitas instrumen tes menunjukkan bahwa instrumen tes valid dengan rata-rata r hitung 2,21 > r tabel 2,08 Uji reliabilitas instrumen tes menunjukkan bahwa instrumen reliabel yaitu r hitung 0,98 > r tabel 0,41. Nilai ketercapaian pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan rata-rata yaitu 84,9. Uji normalitas pada nilai pre test di kelas ekperimen diperoleh 11,04 sedangkan pada kelas kontrol diperoleh 6,28. Sedangkan pada nilai post test di kelas eksperimen diperoleh 11,94 dan di kelas kontrol diperoleh 11,54. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil perhitungan signifikansi > 0,05 sehingga dinyatakan bahwa sebaran data berdistribusi normal. Melalui uji homogenitas pada nilai pre test diperoleh 0,50 > nilai signifikasni 0,05 sedangkan nilai post test diperoleh 1,03 > nilai signifikansi 0,05 yang menunjukkan data pada nilai pretest dan post test memiliki data yang homogen. Dari hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh hasil thitung 13,01 > ttabel 2,011 sehingga Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh media Trans Book materi ekosistem terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPA kelas V SDN II Sumengko.

Recently, Indonesia has low education quality. It is proven by the Assistance carried out by UNESCO in 2017 where Indonesia was ranked 180 out of 187 countries. Another study has shown close results that in of The Gguardian 2016, Indonesia is ranked 57th out of 65 countries. This is very wide and complex to find the main root of the problem in educational system. However, one branch of among current education problems is lack use of media tools used in teaching and learning activities. Each of study has a certain purpose, therefore this study purposed to see at and describe the effect of using Trans Book media on student learning outcomes in science subjects, especially on the ecosystem material at Sumengko Elementary School II.

This type of the study was quantitative experimental research. The design of the study used the experimental research design Quasi-Experimental Design with Non-Equivalent3 Control Design Group. The populations of this study were Sumengko Elementary School II, Sumengko Elementary School I, and Pasinan Elementary School I with 142 students. The sample of this study were 57 students from SDN II Sumengko as the experimental group and 50 students from SDN I Pasinan as the control group. The researcher uses tests and observations to collect the data. Instrument data analysis was estimated by testing the validity of the instrument and reliability test, while the data analysis of the results of the study was carried out by normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis test, and n-gain test. Data collection techniques were carried out by tests and observations. The results test validity of instrument showed that the test instrument is valid with an average r count of 2.21> r table 2.0.8  The test instrument validity indicated that the instrument is reliable ie r count 0.98> r table 0.41. The achievement score of learning implementation is an average that is 84.9. The normality value of the pre test was obtained 11.04 in the experimental class and 6.28 in the control class. Whereas in the post-test scores in the experimental class it was obtained 11.94 and in the control class obtained  11.54. Based on those results, it can be concluded that the calculation of result is significance> 0.05. Thus, it can be stated that the distribution of data is normally distributed. Through homogeneity test on the pretest value, it is obtained 0.50> significant of 0.05 while the post-test value obtained 1.03> 0.05 significance value which showed that the data at the pretest and post-test values have homogeneous data. Following the results of the hypothesis, it showed that the test count 13,01 > t table 2.011. therefore, Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Based on the results obtained, it was concluded that there was an effect of Trans Book media on ecosystem material on student learning outcomes in fifth-grade science learning at SDN II Sumengko.
