DAMPAK PANDEMI COVID-19 TERHADAP MOTIVASI BERLATIH BOLA BASKET DI SMA NEGERI 9 SURABAYA
IMPACT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC ON MOTIVATION TO PRACTICE BASKETBALL IN SMA NEGERI 9 SURABAYA
Pada awal tahun 2020 terjadinya wabah virus corona (Covid-19) yang menyebabkan terjadinya lockdown sehingga segala aktifitas dan fasilitas-fasilitas umum banyak yang di batasi dan ditutup. Semua lapisam masarakat terkena dampaknya, sekolah sekolah melakukan proses belajar mengajar dengan media online, bahkan eksatrakulikuler juga terpaksa berlatih dirumah lewat media online. Banyak kejuaraan-kejuaraan yang ditunda dan dibatalkan. Dengan kondisi seperti ini para siswa dituntut untuk tetap belajar dan berlatih agar tetap mempertahankan kondisinya yang prima dan menjaga motivasi belajar dan berlatih mereka dalam meraih target yang ditentukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahi motivasi berlatih bola basket siswa SMA Neger 9 surabaya selama pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengambilan data menggunakan kuisioner yang berbentuk google form secara online. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa aktif yang mengikuti ekstrakulikuler bola basket di SMA Negeri 9 Surabaya dengan total 44 siswa. Instrument penelitian ini menggunakan angket motivasi yang di validasi oleh expert judgement. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan untuk menjawab rumusan masalah dari 2 faktor intrinsik dan ekstrinsik di dalam faktor itu ada 6 indikator yang meliputi kebutuhan, harapan, minat, keluarga, lingkungan, dan imbalan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa otivasi berlatih bola basket siswa yang masuk kategori sangat tinggi sebesar 4%, kategori tinggi sebesar 76%, kategori cukup sebesar 13%, kategori rendah sebesar 7%, kategori sangat rendah sebesar 0%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan, mayoritas motivasi siswa berada di kategori tinggi yang menunjukan motivasi siswa berlatih bola basket di masa pandemi covid-19 ini sudah cukup baik.

At the beginning of 2020 the corona virus outbreak (Covid-19) caused a lockdown so that all activities and public facilities were limited and closed. All levels of society are affected, schools carry out teaching and learning processes using online media, even extracurriculars are forced to practice at home via online media. Many championships were postponed and canceled. With these conditions, students are required to keep learning and practicing in order to maintain their prime condition and to maintain their motivation to learn and practice in achieving the specified targets. This study aims to determine the motivation to practice basketball for students of SMA Negeri 9 Surabaya during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collection using a questionnaire in the form of an online google form. The subjects of this study were active students who took part in basketball extracurricular activities at SMA Negeri 9 Surabaya with a total of 44 students. The research instrument used a motivation questionnaire which was validated by an expert judgment. Based on the results of research conducted to answer the problem formulation of 2 intrinsic and extrinsic factors, there are 6 indicators which include needs, expectations, interests, family, environment, and rewards. The results showed that the motivation to practice basketball for students in the very high category was 4%, the high category was 76%, the moderate category was 13%, the low category was 7%, the very low category was 0%. So it can be concluded, the majority of student motivation is in the high category which shows that the motivation of students to practice basketball during the Covid-19 pandemic is quite good.
