The Effect of Compensation on Employee Performance through Job Satisfaction as an Intervening Variable at Bank Rakyat Indonesia Syariah Sidoarjo
Seiring perkembangan jaman, industri perbankan syariah di Indonesia tumbuh dengan pesat. Hal ini menjadikan persaingan antar organisasi atau industri menjadi sangat ketat. Organisasi dikatakan dapat bersaing jika pada organisasi tersebut memperhatikan kinerja karyawannya. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui kepuasan kerja karyawan Bank Rakyat Indonesia Kantor Cabang Sidoarjo. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif dan asosiatif kausal dengan sumber data primer dan sekunder. Uji Asumsi Klasik dan Uji Path Analysis dipilih sebagai metode analisis data. Dengan metode tersebut, diperoleh hasil secara signifikan adanya pengaruh langsung kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan dan pengaruh tidak langsung kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui kepuasan kerja.

The organization that already to be able to compete if the organization pays attention to the performance of its employees. This research aims to determine the effect of compensation on employee performance through job satisfaction of employees of Bank Rakyat Indonesia on Sidoarjo branch. This research design uses quantitative and causal associative with primary and secondary data sources. Classical Assumption Test and Path Analysis were chosen as data analysis methods. With this method, the results obtained have a significant direct effect of compensation on employee performance and indirect effect of compensation on employee performance through job satisfaction.
