The Narrative Image of Javanese Temples as an Idea for the Creation of Painting
Memahami visual Candi pada peninggalan yang masih eksis hingga kini, penelitian ini mencoba untuk menggali dan menggabungkan beberapa cerita atau kisah yang tervisualkan dalam Candi dan ornamennya, cerita atau kisah yang tervisualkan ini tersebar dalam Candi dan ornamennya. Tujuan dalam penelitian yaitu untuk memvisualisasikan Candi dan ragam elemen visual pada Candi yang memiliki peran memuat cerita atau kisah dengan pengambilan sejarah dari beberapa Candi Jawa dalam bentuk karya seni lukis. Penelitian ini juga mempunyai manfaat bagi masyarakat sebagai media pengetahuan tentang visual ragam hias Candi Jawa dan sebagai penambah wawasan khususnya dalam bidang seni, sejarah, nasionalisme dan budaya. Fokus ide penciptaan yang di realisasikan berfokus dalam penggabungan sumber kisah atau cerita dari visual ragam hias Candi Jawa beserta berbagai ornamennya. Menjelaskan 5 kisah atau cerita yang dipilih dari sudut pandang visual ragam hias Candi Jawa, kisah atau cerita yang dimaksud yaitu hal-hal yang dapat menjadi pedoman atau dasar dalam menjalankan kehidupan bersosial secara umum. Mencakup simbol yang memiliki peran langsung maupun tidak langsung terhadap proses lahirnya sosial dalam bermasyarakat, berbudaya dan sejarah. Penelitian ini menghasilkan output yaitu penciptaan karya lukis dengan media kanvas dengan ukuran 100 cm x 100 cm dengan media pewarna cat acrylic. Melalui eksplorasi kisah atau cerita dari visual ragam hias Candi, penelitian ini berupaya memberikan inspirasi bagi masyarakat lewat karya yang bersumber ide dari visual ragam hias Candi dan ornamennya.
Understanding the visuals of the Temple in the heritage that still exists today, this research tries to explore and combine several stories or stories that are visualized in the Temple and its ornaments, these visualized stories or stories are scattered in the Temple and its ornaments. Explaining 5 stories or stories that will be selected from the point of view of the visual variety of Javanese Temple ornaments, the stories or stories in question are things that can be a guide or basis in carrying out social life in general. Including symbols that have a direct or indirect role in the process of social birth in society, culture and history. This research produces output, namely the creation of paintings with canvas media with a size of 100 cm x 100 cm with acrylic paint coloring media. Through the exploration of stories or stories from the visuals of Temple ornaments, this research seeks to provide inspiration for the community through works that derive ideas from the visuals of Temple ornaments and their ornaments.
