PENGGUNAAN METODE DIRECT INSTRUCTION BERBASIS PEMODELAN SENAM FANTASI TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MOTORIK KASAR ANAK TUNAGRAHITA RINGAN

Penelitian ini berdasarkan anak tunagrahita di SLB Siti Hajar Sidoarjo mengalami hambatan pada motorik kasar yaitu gerakan tangan, jongkok dan melompat. Senam merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang dilakukan anak dengan cara menggerakkan anggota badan menirukan gerakan seperti meniru gerak hewan, gerakan pohon tertiup angin dan benda disekitar yang dapat membantu anak dalam mengatasi hambatan pada motorik kasar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh penggunaan metode direct instruction berbasis pemodelan senam fantasi terhadap motorik kasar anak tunagrahita ringan di SLB Siti Hajar Sidoarjo
Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian pre eksperimen dan jenis rancangan penelitian one group pre-test post-test design. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan tes. Teknik anailsis data yang digunakan dalam analisis data penelitian ini yaitu wilcoxon matched pair test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa T=0 sama dengan nilai kritis (tabel) 5% (pengujian dua sisi) yaitu 0 berarti T, bahwa ada pengaruh penggunaan metode direct instruction berbasis pemodelan senam fantasi terhadap motorik kasar anak tunagrahita ringan.

This research based on mentally retardation children in SLB Siti Hajar Sidoarjo who got hindrance in gross motoric i.e. hand movement, squatting, and jumping. A gymnastic was one of the activities done by the children with moving the part of body imitating the movement of animal, a tree blown by the wind, and the things around which could help the children in solving the hindrance to gross motoric. This reseach purpose was to test the influence of direct instruction method usage base fantastic gymnastic modelling toward gross motoric of mild mentally retardation children in SLB Siti Hajar Sidoarjo.
The research approach used was quantitative with pre experiment and the research arrangement was one group pre-test post-test design. The technique of data collection used was test. The technique of data analysis used in this research was wilcoxon matched pair test. The research result indicated that T=0 was equal to critic value Tα (table) 5% (two sides test) i.e. 0 meant T ≤ Tα that there was influence of the direct instruction method usage base fantastic gymnastic modelling toward gross motoric of mild mentally retardation children.
