Durability
is one of the common problem s in the concrete structure technique that
caused by non-optimal concrete compacted, so needed concrete that able
to compacting by itself. Characteristic
of Self compacting concrete is having volume binder more than normal concrete,
so w/b ratio become smaller. The w/b ratio that suggested to do is 0,20-0,35.
HVFA used to decrease environment effect that caused by using large volume of
binder. The purpose of this research is to determine
the effect of w/b ratio for fresh properties, weight per-volume , porosity , and
compressive strength. This research is planned to use variation of w/b ratio
with 0,20; 0,24; 0,28; and 0,32 and use
proportion of HVFA with 50% of total binder. Test object use silinder with dimension 10x20 cm. Fresh properties test
using Slump test and T50, V-funnel test, and L-Box test. Compressive strength
concrete tested at 7,14, and 28 days.
The
result s
of this research shows all of the
varian based on spesification of fresh properties. Most of Weight
per-volume concrete includes
in the heaviness concrete ’s type . The
heaviest result of all varian is 2451,59 kg/m3 . The effect of w/b ratio in porosity shown that the lowest w/b ratio will make
lower percentage of porosity with the
result is 1,27%. The largest of
compressive strength is on the 0,2 w/b
ratio’s concrete with result’s 44,59
MPa.
