RELASI PARADIGMATIK DAN SINTAGMATIK

ISTILAH DALAM JUDI SABUNG AYAM DI KECAMATAN KAUMAN KABUPATEN TULUNGAGUNG

Istilah merupakan kata yang mempunyai makna tertentu tergantung bidangnya, seperti pada bidang relasi sosial, pekerjaan, pertanian, pendidikan, dan lain-lain. Salah satunya yaitu istilah relasi sosial masyarakat mengenai kegitan menyimpang khususnya perjudian yaitu judi sabung ayam (totohan adu pitik). Lalu istilah dalam judi sabung ayam tersebut akan dicari hubungan paradigmatik dan sintagmatiknya. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu: (1) jenis hubungan paradigmatik istilah dalam judi sabung ayam di Kecamatan Kauman Kabupaten Tulungagung dan (2) jenis hubungan sintagmatik istilah judi sabung ayam di Kecamatan Kauman Kabupaten Tulungagung? Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan dan memaparkan hubungan paradigmatik dan sintagmatik istilah dalam judi sabung ayam di Kecamatan Kauman Kabupaten Tulungagung.

Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian linguistik deskriptif yang bersifat linguistik sinkronis. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa istilah yang digunakan dalam totohan adu pitik di Kecamatan Kauman Kabupaten Tulungagung. Kemudian data tersebut dikelompok-kelompokkan berdasarkan urut-urutannya totohan adu pitik. Lalu istilah-istilah itu dicari jenis hubungan paradigmatiknya. Setelah itu dipaparkan dengan paparan komponen makna dan struktur batin untuk mengetahui hubungan sintagmatik. Selain itu, untuk membuktikan metode agih (distribusional), kususnya teknik ganti (substitusi).

Hasil penelitian ini yaitu, istilah dalam judi sabung ayam mempunyai empat jenis hubungan paradigmatik berupa hiponim, kohiponim, hipernim, dan koipernim. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan hubungan sintagmatik yang mempunyai dua jenis sifat yaitu enkapsulatif dan distributif.

THE PARADIGMATIC AND SINTAGMATIC’S RELATION TERMS OF COCKFIGHTING GAMBLING IN KAUMAN DISTRICT, TULUNGAGUNG REGENCY

The term is a word that has a certain meaning depending on the field, such as in the field of social relations, employment, agriculture, education, and others. One of them is the term of social relations regarding the activity of deviant, especially gambling, that is namely cockfighting gambling (totohan adu pitik). Then, the terms of cockfighting gambling will be found the paradigmatic and syntagmatic's relation. Based on this phenomenon, the formulation of the problem in this study are: (1) what kind of paradigmatic's relation terms in cockfighting gambling in Kauman District, Tulungagung Regency and (2)what types of syntagmatic relationships in terms of cockfighting gambling in Kauman District Tulungagung Regency? The purpose of this study is to explain and bring out the paradigmatic and syntagmatic relations of terms in cockfighting gambling in Kauman District, Tulungagung Regency.
This research is a type of descriptive linguistic research which is synchronic linguistic. The data in this study are in the form of terms used in cockfighting gambling in Kauman District, Tulungagung Regency. Then the data is classified according to the sequence of
cockfighting gambling rules. Then, the terms be brought out to the type of paradigmatic's relation. Continously, it is explained by rolling out the components of meaning and inner structure to find out the syntagmatic's relation. In addition, it uses to prove the method of distribution , especially the substitute technique.
The results of this study were, the terms in cockfighting gambling have four types of paradigmatic's relations in the form of hyponyms, cohiponyms, hypernim, and co-entrepreneur. The results of this study also showed a syntagmatic's relation that had two types of characteristics, namely encapsulative and distributive.
