MASKER PERAWATAN WAJAH BERBAHAN KOMBINASI JAGUNG DAN MINYAK ZAITUN

FACE MASK MADE FROM A COMBINATION OF CORN AND OLIVE OIL

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menentukan perbandingan komposisi bahan baku masker wajah dengan kombinasi ba-han dasar jagung dan minyak zaitun untuk jenis kulit wajah kering dan normal, serta memberikan penilaian keberter-imaan masker yang telah dibuat kepada responden masyarakat berdasarkan pengamatan organoleptik. Jumlah sampel yang diambil adalah dari 30 orang responden yang terdiri dari 30 orang dengan kulit kering dan normal. Formula masker yang mendapatkan nilai paling baik adalah kombinasi perbandingan jagung: minyak zaitun: air mawar = 60 : 30 : 10 dengan hasil penilaian pengamatan organoleptik berupa warna cukup kuning muda (skor 1,47); aroma tajam (skor 3,37); tekstur cukup halus, jika diraba terdapat sedikit gumpalan jagung (skor 3,47); tidak lengket (skor 1,43); dan sangat disukai responden (skor 3,80).

This article aims to determine the composition ratio of the raw material for face masks with a combination of corn and olive oil as active ingredients for dry and normal facial skin types, and to provide an assessment of the acceptabil-ity of mask that have been made to community respondents based on organoleptic assessment. The number of samples taken from 30 respondents consisting of 30 people with dry and normal skin. The mask’s formula that got the best score was the combination of the ratio of corn: olive oil: rose water = 60: 30: 10 with the result of organoleptic obser-vation in the form of a fairly light yellow color (score 1.47); sharp aroma (score 3.37); quite smooth texture, with few lumps of corn (score 3.47); low stickiness (score 1.43); and highly favored by respondents (score 3.80).
