PENERAPAN TATA RIAS KOREKTIF MATA SIPIT MENGGUNAKAN SMOKEY EYES DAN TEKNIK JAHIT BULU MATA

IMPLEMENTATION OF CORRECTIVE PROPERTIES USING SMOKEY EYES AND EYE SEWING TECHNIQUES

Rias mata merupakan bagian penting dalam menampilkan kesuluruhan rias wajah. Bentuk mata yang ideal adalah berbentuk biji almond dan salah satu bentuk mata yang kurang ideal  yaitu bentuk mata sipit. Mata sipit merupakan mata yang tidak berkelopak. Di Indonesia banyak ditemui orang bermata sipit. Tidak hanya etnis cina saja yang bermata sipit, ada dari keturunan jawa, minang atau sunda. Sehingga untuk membuat riasan mata yang menarik juga diperlukan pengetahuan serta keterampilan dalam menggunakan warna eyeshadow, teknik aplikasi serta alat yang tepat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil penerapan tata rias koreksi mata sipit menggunakan teknik smokey eyes dan jahit bulu mata. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pra eksperimen menggunakan desain “One shot case study”. Obyek penelitian adalah pengaplikasian eyeshadow smokey eyes dan  teknik jahit bulu mata pada tata rias korektif mata sipit. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, yaitu rata-rata (mean). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan tata rias korektif mata sipit menggunakan smokey eyes dan teknik jahit bulu mata, melipti 10 (sepuluh) aspek semuanya tergolong pada kategori sangat baik, antara lain : 1) kesesuaian warna foundation dengan hasil make up korektif, 2) pemasangan bulu mata palsu dengan teknik jahit bulu mata, 3) teknik penerapan tata rias korektif pada mata sipit, 4) kehalusan keseluruhan hasil jadi riasan korektif mata sipit dan 5) kerataan keseluruhan hasil jadi riasan korektif mata sipit memiliki nila rata-rata 4. Terdapat 3 aspek yang memiliki nilai rata- rata 3,93 meliputi 6) kesesuaian warna bedak dengan hasil make up korektif, 7) kehalusan riasan mata, dan 8) kesesuaian lipstik terhadap hasil make up korektif.  Sedangkan dua aspek memiliki nilai rata-rata 3,83 pada 9) kesesuaian blush on dengan hasil make up korektif. Dan nilai rata-rata 3,80 pada 10) kesesuaian eyeshadow smokey eyes dengan teknik jahit bulu mata. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan tata rias korektif mata sipit menggunakan smokey eyes dan teknik jahit bulu mata dengan kategori sangat baik.

Eye makeup is an important part in displaying the overall makeup. The ideal eye shape is almond seed shaped and one of the less ideal eye shapes is the slanted eye shape. Narrow eyes are eyes without eyelids. In Indonesia, there are many narrow eyed people. Not only ethnic Chinese are narrow-eyed, there are descendants of Java, Minang or Sundanese. So to make eye makeup interesting also requires knowledge and skills in using eye shadow colors, application techniques and the right tools. The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the application of slant eye correction cosmetology using smokey eyes and eyelash sewing techniques. This type of research is a pre-experimental design using the "One shot case study". The object of research is the application of the smokey eye eyeshadow technique and eyelash sewing in the corrective make-up of slanted eyes. Data collection method used in this study is the method of observation. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive, which is the average (mean). The results showed that the application of slanted eye corrective make up using smokey eyes and eyelash sewing techniques, including 10 (ten) aspects all belong to the excellent category, including: 1) compatibility of foundation color with the results of corrective makeup, 2) installation of bristles false eye with eyelash sewing technique, 3) the technique of applying corrective make up on slanted eyes, 4) the overall smoothness of the finished finished corrective eye makeup and 5) the overall flatness of the finished finished corrective slanted eye has an average value of 4. There are 3 aspects which has an average value of 3.93 includes 6) the suitability of the color of the powder with the results of corrective makeup, 7) the smoothness of eye makeup, and 8) the suitability of the lipstick to the results of the corrective makeup. While the two aspects have an average value of 3.83 at 9) the suitability of the blush on with the results of corrective make up. And an average value of 3.80 at 10) compatibility of smokey eyes eyeshadow with eyelash sewing techniques. It can be concluded that the application of slanted eye corrective make up uses smokey eyes and eyelash sewing techniques with very good categories.
