IDENTIFIKASI KARAKTERISTIK ANTROPOMETRI PADA ATLET HOCKEY OUTDOOR PUTRI GRESIK JAWA TIMUR

IDENTIFICATION OF ANTHROPOMETRIC CHARACTERISTICS IN PUTRI OUTDOOR HOCKEY ATHLETES, GRESIK, EAST JAVA

Antropometri dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi kinerja, khususnya pada tingkat keterampilan dan kesehatan, serta untuk memperkirakan kemajuan pelatihan. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk menganalisis karakteristik antropometri pada atlet hockey outdoor putri Gresik Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil menunjukkan rata-rata berat badan 46,3 kg. Tinggi badan atlet hockey outdoor putri Gresik mendapatkan hasil rata-rata tinggi badan 154,27 cm. Indeks massa tubuh (IMT) atlet hockey outdoor putri Gresik menunjukan hasil rata-rata nilai 19,48 dengan kategori “Ideal”. Tinggi duduk atlet hockey outdoor putri Gresik mendapatkan hasil rata-rata keseluruhan tinggi duduk memiliki nilai 80,20 cm. Panjang rentang lengan atlet hockey outdoor putri Gresik mendapatkan hasil rata-rata keseluruhan panjang rentang lengan yaitu 158,33 cm Panjang tungkai atlet hockey outdoor putri Gresik mendapatkan  hasil rata-rata keseluruhan panjang tungkai 74,07 cm. Dapat diilihat dari ciri-ciri bentuk tipe tubuh berdasarkan hasil perhitungan imt, atlet hockey outdoor putri Gresik rata-rata memiliki bentuk tubuh “mesomorphy” dan “ectomorphy”. Kesimpulannya adalah pemain yang sudah memperoleh satu keunggulan dari segi postur tubuh yang dimiliki. Bagi pemain yang memiliki bentuk tubuh yang ideal, diharapkan senantiasa menjaga bentuk tubuh yang dimiliki dan memaksimalkan kemampuan individualnya dalam memperoleh prestasi.

Anthropometry can be used to predict performance, particularly at skill and health levels, and to estimate training progress. The purpose of this study was to analyze the anthropometric characteristics of female outdoor hockey athletes in Gresik, East Java. This research is quantitative descriptive. The results show an average body weight of 46.3 kg. The height of the female outdoor hockey athlete in Gresik obtained an average height of 154.27 cm. The body mass index (BMI) of Gresik women's outdoor hockey athletes showed an average value of 19.48 in the "Ideal" category. The sitting height of Gresik women's outdoor hockey athletes obtained an average overall sitting height of 80.20 cm. The arm length of the female outdoor hockey athlete in Gresik obtained an average overall arm length of 158.33 cm. The leg length of the female outdoor hockey athlete in Gresik obtained an average overall leg length of 74.07 cm. It can be seen from the characteristics of the body type based on the results of BMI calculations, that Gresik female outdoor hockey athletes have an average body shape of "mesomorphy" and "ectomorphy". The conclusion is a player who has obtained an advantage in terms of body posture he has. For players who have an ideal body shape, it is expected that they will always maintain their body shape and maximize their individual abilities in obtaining achievements.
