Kemampuan personal hygiene penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari bagi peserta didik autisme spectrum disorder. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media visual support berbasis kearifan lokal Indonesia terhadap kemampuan personal hygiene peserta didik autism spectrum disorder di SLB Negeri Lamongan. Kemampuan personal hygiene terdiri dari mencuci tangan, menggosok gigi dan mandi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian eksperimen dan mengguanakan pre-experimental design berbentuk one-group pretest-posttest design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah lima peserta didik autisme spectrum disorder jenjang sekolah dasar. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi partisipatif dan tes perbuatan dengan instrumen observasi dan instrument tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji wilcoxon signed-rank. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interpretasi data yaitu 0 < 1 atau Thitung < Ttabel artinya Ho ditolak maka adanya pengaruh penggunaan media visual support berbasis kearifan lokal Indonesia terhadap kemampuan personal hygiene peserta didik autism spectrum disorder di SLB Negeri Lamongan.

Personal hygiene ability is important in daily life for students with autism spectrum disorder. This research aims to determine the effect of using visual support based on Indonesian local wisdom on the personal hygiene ability of students with autism spectrum disorder at SLB Negeri Lamongan. Personal hygiene ability consists of washing hands, brushing teeth, and bathing. This research uses a quantitative approach with an experimental research method and employs a pre-experimental design in the form of a one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects in this research consisted of five elementary school students with autism spectrum disorder. The data collection technique used participatory observation and performance tests with observation instruments and test instruments. The data analysis technique used the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The research results show that the data interpretation is 0 < 1 or T-count < T-table, meaning Ho is rejected, so there is an influence of using visual support based on Indonesian local wisdom on the personal hygiene ability of students with autism spectrum disorder at SLB Negeri Lamongan.
