Studi Komparasi Video Watermarking dengan Algoritma Discrete Wavelet Transform dan Discrete Cosine Transform
The development of technology in the digital era is growing very fast every day. With the current development of digital technology, social media can make it easier for us to access and distribute text, images, videos, and more. The risk of crime on video is higher than that of text and images. Digital watermarking can be used to protect digital information from manipulation and illegal distribution. Watermark insertion is generally done in the spatial domain or frequency domain. The methods used are Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) and Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT). DWT is used to obtain multi-resolution components namely horizontal, vertical and diagonal of an image. Meanwhile, DCT separates each image block into low, medium and high frequency bands. PSNR is the ratio between the maximum possible strength of the signal and the strength of the destructive noise. Based on research conducted by the author, the greater the DCT / DWT coefficient, the better the quality of the extracted image. The test results show that the PSNR value of video watermark using DWT is greater than the PSNR value of video watermark using DCT. However, the difference in PSNR values between DWT and DCT is very small. The PSNR value of the video watermark is smaller than 30, indicating that the two videos have low similarities. The greater the PSNR value of the video, the better the video quality.
