EVALUASI INDEKS KEBUTUHAN LATIHAN (INDEX OVERALL DEMAND) ATLET PENCAK SILAT PUSLATDA JAWA TIMUR
Evaluation of the Training Needs Index (Index Overall Demand) of Pencak Silat Athletes in the East Java Regional Training Center (Puslatda)
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi Index Overall Demand (IOD) Atlet Pencak Silat PUSLATDA Jawa Timur. Data dikumpulkan melalui pengamatan langsung pada tiga sesi latihan yang dilaksanakan di Sanggar Lhsas Walkita, Rajek, Sumber Gedang, Kecamatan Pandaan, Kabupaten Pasuruan, pada tanggal 29 Juli hingga 5 Agustus 2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kebutuhan latihan IOD atlet PUSLATDA Jawa Timur berada pada kategori sedang hingga tinggi, dengan tren peningkatan dari hari pertama hingga hari ketiga. Kualitas latihan juga mengalami peningkatan seiring dengan adaptasi atlet terhadap beban latihan yang diberikan. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa program latihan yang diterapkan cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan kesiapan fisik dan performa atlet. Namun, beberapa aspek seperti pengaturan intensitas dan durasi istirahat perlu disesuaikan agar latihan lebih optimal. Kesimpulannya, kebutuhan program latihan bagi atlet Pencak Silat PUSLATDA Jawa Timur cukup besar, mengingat pentingnya penyesuaian beban latihan yang seimbang dengan proses pemulihan untuk mendukung peningkatan performa secara berkelanjutan.
This study aims to evaluate the Index Overall Demand (IOD) of East Java Pencak Silat PUSLATDA athletes. Data were collected through direct observation during three training sessions held at Sanggar Lhsas Walkita, Rajek, Sumber Gedang, Pandaan District, Pasuruan Regency, from July 29 to August 5, 2024. The results showed that the average IOD training needs of East Java PUSLATDA athletes were in the moderate to high category, with an increasing trend from the first day to the third day. The quality of training also increased along with the athletes' adaptation to the training load given. This indicates that the training program applied is quite effective in improving the physical readiness and performance of athletes. However, some aspects such as setting the intensity and duration of rest need to be adjusted to make the training more optimal. In conclusion, the need for training programs for East Java Pencak Silat PUSLATDA athletes is quite large, given the importance of adjusting the training load in balance with the recovery process to support sustainable performance improvement.
