STUDI LITERATUR PELATIHAN KETERAMPILAN VOKASIONAL PADA SEKTOR USAHA MANDIRI DISABILITAS DAKSA
A LITERATURE REVIEW ON VOCATIONAL SKILLS TRAINING IN THE SELF-EMPLOYMENT SECTOR FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH PHYSICAL DISABILITIES
Keterampilan Vokasional bagi disabilitas daksa merupakan bekal awal menuju pribadi yang mandiri dan berdaya pada usia produktif pasca pendidikan formal. Disabilitas daksa seringkali mengalami kesulitan dalam mengasah daya kreatifitas yang diakibatkan oleh kondisinya yang sulit bersosial, sehingga berdampak pada kemampuannya dalam meningkatkan keterampilan vokasional. Tujuan kajian literatur ini untuk mendeskripsikan pentingnya pelatihan keterampilan vokasional beserta tindak lanjut pada sektor usaha mandiri disabilitas daksa. Metode yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah literature review yang mengutip dari beberapa sumber data penelitian, jurnal maupun artike seperti Google Schoolar, International Journal of Education and research, E-resource Perpusnas, Sains Direct, European Journal of Special Needs Education, dan beberapa sumber pencarian lainnya yang disajikan secara ringkas. Hasil yang dapat diamati dari analisis tinjauan literature ini menjelaskan bahwa proses pembekalan keterampilan vokasional memiliki peran penting dalam mengasah beragam potensi keterampilan serta membangun kapasitas disabilitas daksa usia produktif secara signifikan, dengan pemberian fasilitas yang mendukung serta melibat sertakan stakeholder terkait. Implikasi kajian ini yaitu memberikan wawasan terkait kontribusi konkret kegiatan pelatihan keterampilan vokasional disabilitas daksa, dan mampu menjadi referensi kegiatan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas serta mengasah potensi dalam diri disabilitas daksa guna mencapai hidup berdaya pada sektor usaha mandiri.

Vocational skills for individuals with physical disabilities serve as a foundational step towards becoming independent and empowered during their productive years post-formal education. Individuals with physical disabilities often face difficulties in developing their creativity due to social challenges, which impacts their ability to enhance vocational skills. The purpose of this literature review is to describe the importance of vocational skills training and its follow-up in the self-employment sector for individuals with physical disabilities. The method used in this study is a literature review, drawing from various research sources, journals, and articles such as Google Scholar, the International Journal of Education and Research, E-resources from the National Library, Science Direct, the European Journal of Special Needs Education, and other search sources presented concisely. The results observed from this literature review analysis indicate that the process of providing vocational skills training plays a crucial role in developing diverse skill potentials and significantly building the capacity of physically disabled individuals of productive age, with the provision of supportive facilities and involvement of relevant stakeholders. The implications of this study provide insights into the tangible contributions of vocational skill training activities for individuals with physical disabilities. It can serve as a reference for initiatives aimed at enhancing capacities and honing the potential of individuals with physical disabilities to achieve empowered lives in the self-employment sector.
