Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) menghasilkan produk LKPD berbasis kearifan lokal Batik Surabaya yang layak untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas IV Sekolah Dasar, (2) mendeskripsikan validitas, kepraktisan, dan kefektifan Lembar Kegiatan Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis Kearifan lokal Batik khas Surabaya untuk meningkatkan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas IV Sekolah Dasar.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang mengacu pada model pengembangan Four D (4D). LKPD berbasis kearifan lokal Batik Surabaya kemudian divalidasi oleh pakar. Hasil validasi pakar menyatakan bahwa LKPD berbasis kearifan lokal Batik khas Surabaya valid untujk digunakan. Selanjutnya diuji cobakan kepada siswa kelas IV SDN Mulyorejo I/ 237 Surabaya dengan One Group Pretest-Postest Design.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Lembar Kegiatan Peserta Didik yang dikembangkan berkategori sangat valid, (2) Lembar Kegiatan Peserta Didik yang dikembangkan praktis berdasarkan keterlaksanaan RPP yang berkategori sangat baik dan aktivitas siswa yang relevan dengan pembelajaran, (3) Lembar Kegiatan Peserta Didik yang dikembangkan efektif berdasarkan hasil tes berpikir kritis siswa yang menunjukkan bahwa semua siswa tuntas dengan N-gain berkategori tinggi serta respon baik yang diberikan oleh siswa. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis kearifan lokal Batik khas Surabaya layak untuk meningkat kan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SD.

The aim of this study was (1) produce Student Activity Sheet based on local wisdom of Surabaya’s Batik that is feasible to improve students' critical thinking skills in science subjects in class IV Elementary School, (2) describe the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the Student Activity Sheet (LKPD) based on the local wisdom of Surabaya’ Batik to improve student learning in science subjects fourth grade Elementary School.
This research was a development research that refers to the Four D (4D) development model. Student Activity Sheet based on local wisdom Surabaya’s batik then validated by experts. The results of the validation of the experts stated that the Student Activity Sheet based on local wisdom of Surabaya batik is valid for use. Furthermore, it was tested on the fourth grade students of SDN Mulyorejo I / 237 Surabaya with One Group Pretest-Postest Design.
The results of research showed (1) the Student Activity Sheet based on local wisdom of Surabaya’s Batik were categorized as remarkably valid, (2) the Student Activity Sheet based on local wisdom of Surabaya’s Batik was practical, on the implementation of RPP considered as an excellent category and the student activities were relevant to the lesson plan (3) the Student Activity Sheet based on local wisdom of Surabaya’s Batik was effective; as revealed by the test results of the students on the critical thinking skill, showing all the students were passed with a high N-gain category, and also excellent feedback given by the students. It can be concluded that Student Activity Sheet based on local wisdom of Surabaya’s Batik was feasible to improve critical thinking skills on elementary school students.
