Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan komik fisika yang dapat melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMA, memenuhi kelayakan ditinjau dari validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan memakai model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, pengamatan, dan tes, dengan subjek 24 siswa SMA Muhammadiyah 9 Surabaya. Komik fisika dikatakan layak apabila validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas mencapai persentase ≥61%. Validitas ditinjau dari pembelajaran, materi, media, dan soal tes keterampilan berpikir kritis masing-masing memperoleh persentase 95,45%, 100,00%, 100,00%, dan 99,40%, berada di kriteria sangat baik. Kepraktisan ditinjau dari keterlaksanaan pembelajaran memperoleh persentase 92,31%, berada di kriteria sangat baik. Efektivitas beradasarkan hasil tes keterampilan berpikir kritis dan angket respon siswa memperoleh persentase masing-masing 79,79% atau berada di kriteria baik, dan 97,92% atau berada di kriteria sangat baik.
The objective of this study was to produce proper comic about physics to train critical thinking skills of senior high schooler by fullfiling the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of comic. The type is development research using ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The data received through questionnaire, observation, and critical thinking skills test, which subject is 24 students of Muhammadiyah 9 Surabaya Senior High School. Comic is said to be proper if it reaches a validity, practicality, and effectiveness percentage more than 61%. Validity has reviewed from learning process, learning material, media, and critical thinking skills test questions, has received percentage respectively 95,45%, 100,00%, 100,00%, and 99,40%, or in very good criteria. Practicality has reviewed from learning implementation and has received percentage 92,31% or in very good criteria. Effectiveness has reviewed from critical thinking skills test and student’s respons questionnaire has received percentage respectively 79,79% or in good criteria, and 97,92% or in very good criteria.
