Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah Terhadap Keterampilan Berpikir Materi Teks Nonfiksi Kritis Siswa Kelas V Sekolah Dasar

The Effect of Problem-Based Learning Models on the Thinking Skills of Critical Nonfiction Text Materials of Class V Elementary School Students

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis materi teks nonfiksi siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar. penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan rancangan pretest posttest control group desain. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN Kedurus III/430 Surabaya berjumlah 137 siswa. sampel dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V-C sebagai kelas eksperimen berjumlah 35 siswa dan kelas V-B sebagai kelas kontrol berjumlah 37 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan peneliti adalah teknik tes. Teknik tes berupa soal pretest dan postest. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan perhitungan menggunakan software IBM SPSS 29 ditemukan rata-rata posttest kelompok kontrol adalah 4,3243 dan kelompok eksperimen adalah 14,3714. Dengan selisih diantara keduanya adalah 10,0471. Pada pengolahan data diperoleh nilai Sig (2 tailed) 0,001 < 0,05, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Maka hipotesis yang diajukan diterima yakni terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V sekolah dasar.

This study aims to describe the influence of problem-based learning models on critical thinking skills of nonfiction text material for grade V elementary school students. This research is a type of experimental research with a quantitative approach using the Pretest Posttest Control Group Design design. The population of this study is grade V students of SDN Kedurus III / 430 Surabaya totaling 137 students. The sample of this study was students of class V-C as an experimental class totaling 35 students and class V-B as a control class totaling 37 students. The data collection technique carried out by researchers is a test technique. Test techniques in the form of pretest and posttest questions. The data analysis techniques used are validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests. The results of the study based on calculations using IBM SPSS 29 software found the average posttest of the control group was 4.3243 and the experimental group was 14.3714. The difference between the two is 10.0471. In data processing, a Sig (2 tailed) value of 0.001 < 0.05 is obtained, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So the hypothesis proposed is accepted, namely that there is an influence of problem-based learning models on the critical thinking skills of grade V elementary school students.
