The influence of school culture and' work motivation on the performance of State Junior High School teachers in Magetan Regency

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis besarnya pengaruh yang signifikan dari budaya sekolah terhadap kinerja guru, motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru serta budaya sekolah dan motivasi kerja secara simultan terhadap kinerja guru.
Penelitin ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif jenis korelasional. Dilakukan di Kabupaten Magetan dengan subyek penelitian adalah guru SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Magetan, diambil sampel 286 orang. Teknik pengambilan data budaya sekolah dan motivasi kerja menggunakan angket dengan skala likert secara online, sedangkan data kinerja guru dari dokumen nilai kinerja guru. Untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh secara parsial dari budaya sekolah dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru menggunakan uji regresi linier sederhana. Sedangkan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh budaya sekolah dan motivasi kerja secara simultan terhadap kinerja guru menggunakan uji regresi linier berganda.
Hasil penelitian budaya sekolah dan motivasi kerja secara parsial diperoleh nilai t hitung > t tabel dan memiliki nilai signifikansi < 0.05. Sedang budaya sekolah dan motivasi kerja secara simultan diperoleh nilai signifikansi < 0.05 dan nilai F hitung > F tabel.
Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan , 1) Semakin baik budaya sekolah semakin baik kinerja guru, 2) Semakin tinggi motivasi kerja semakin baik kinerja guru, dan 3) Semakin baik budaya sekolah dan motivasi kerja maka semakin baik pula kinerja guru. Semoga penelitian ini memberi dampak positif baik terhadap instansi, guru maupun penelitian selanjutnya.

The research aims to find out and analyze the significant influence of school culture on teacher performance, work motivation on teacher performance as well as school culture and work motivation simultaneously on teacher performance.
This researcher uses a quantitative method of correlational type. Conducted in Magetan Regency with the subject of the study being State Junior High School teachers in Magetan Regency, a sample of 286 people was taken. The technique of collecting school culture and work motivation data uses a questionnaire with an online likert scale, while teacher performance data is from teacher performance value documents. To find out and analyze the partial influence of school culture and work motivation on teacher performance using a simple linear regression test. Meanwhile, to find out and analyze the influence of school culture and work motivation simultaneously on teacher performance using multiple linear regression tests.
The results of the research on school culture and work motivation were partially obtained from the t-calculation value > the table and had a significance value of < 0.05. Meanwhile, school culture and work motivation simultaneously obtained a significance value of < 0.05 and an F value calculated > F table.
From the results of the study, it was concluded that, 1) The better the school culture, the better the teacher's performance, 2) The higher the work motivation, the better the teacher's performance, and 3) The better the school culture and work motivation, the better the teacher's performance. Hopefully this research will have a positive impact on both agencies, teachers and future research.
