PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA VIDEO KARAKTER EMOTIKON BERANTAI UNTUK PEMBELAJARAN MENULIS NASKAH DRAMA SISWA KELAS XI
DEVELOPMENT OF SERIAL EMOTICON CHARACTER VIDEO MEDIA FOR LEARNING TO WRITE VISUAL DRAMA SCRIPT FOR SECOND GRADE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Pengembangan media ini dilatarbelakangi pentingnya penggunaan media sebagai salah satu keberhasilan dalam belajar mengajar. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan media video karakter emotikon berantai, serta mendeskripsikan hasil penelitian berupa kevalidan media, kepraktisan media, dan keefektifan. Media pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia ini terdapat dalam materi menulis naskah drama kelas XI SMA. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 4 SMAN 1 Pulung Kabupatan Ponorogo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan model Sadiman yakni (1) identifikasi kebutuhan, (2) perumusan tujuan, (3) perumusan butir-butir materi, (4) perumusan alat-alat pengukur keberhasilan, (5) pembuatan media, (6) validasi, (7) revisi, (8) naskah siap produksi. Hasil dari penelitian ini mengatakan bahwa media video karakter emotikon berantai dinilai dari segi kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Validasi dari aspek materi dan media dengan persentase 75,71%. Kemudian dalam keefektifan media diambil dari rata-rata hasil belajar sebesar 85,06 dengan kategori sangat baik, aktivitas guru dengan persentase 97% dengan kategori sangat baik, dan aktivitas siswa sebesar 95% dengan katergori sangat baik. Kepraktisan pengguaan media di nilai dari respon siswa menggunakan media tersebut sebesar 84,42% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Dengan keseluruhan hasil nilai kualitas media sebesar 84,16% dengan kategori sangat berkualitas.

This media development is motivated by the importance of using media as one of the successes in teaching and learning. The purpose of this study was to describe the process of developing chain emoticon character video media, as well as to describe the research results in the form of media validity, media practicality, and effectiveness. This Indonesian language learning media is contained in the material for writing drama scripts for class XI SMA. In this study using quantitative methods with research subjects are students of class XI IPA 4 SMAN 1 Pulung, Ponorogo Regency. This type of research is the development research of Sadiman's model, namely (1) identification of needs, (2) formulation of objectives, (3) formulation of material items, (4) formulation of measuring tools for success, (5) making of media, (6) validation , (7) revisions, (8) ready-to-production manuscripts. The results of this study said that the emoticon chain character video media was assessed in terms of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Validation from the material and media aspects with a percentage of 75.71%. Then the effectiveness of the media is taken from an average learning outcome of 85.06 with a very good category, teacher activity with a percentage of 97% with a very good category, and student activity by 95% with a very good category. The practicality of using the media in the value of students' responses to using the media is 84.42% with the very practical category. With the overall results of the media quality score of 84.16% with the very quality category.
