PEMANFAATAN KAYU PERCA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN SENI PATUNG DI KELAS IX SMP MUHAMMADIYAH 16 BRONDONG LAMONGAN
UTILIZATION OF PATCHWORK WOOD IN LEARNING SCULPTURE IN CLASS IX SMP MUHAMMADIYAH 16 BRONDONG LAMONGAN
Seni rupa merupakan salah satu keilmuan dalam pelajaran seni budaya yang dipelajari di sekolah. Dalam implementasinya materi seni rupa mencakup aspek kemampuan yaitu apresiasi yang berbasis pada penguasaan teori dan kreasi yang berbasis pada kemampuan skill atau keterampilan. Salah satu materi seni rupa yang diajarkan di SMP Muhammadiyah 16 Brondong Lamongan adalah seni patung. Namun dalam praktik keterampilan seni patung guru dan siswa mengalami kendala terkait bahan untuk membuat patung. Dampaknya pembelajaran kurang optimal dan siswa tidak memiliki pengalaman membuat patung.
Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pembelajaran seni patung dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL), yang meliputi proses, hasil, dan evaluasi pembelajaran seni patung dengan memanfaatkan bahan kayu perca pada siswa kelas IX SMP Muhammadiyah 16 Brondong Lamongan.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif melalui pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, dan dokumenasi.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam proses pembelajaran seni patung siswa mampu menerapkan dan membuat patung dari bahan kayu perca serta dapat memahami beberapa bahan, alat, dan teknik. Hasil karya patung dikatakan baik dengan nilai diatas KKM sesuai dengan kriteria penilaian berupa komposisi, proporsi, kerapian, dan kekuatan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi dapat dideskripsikan siswa aktif dalam kelompok praktik seni patung mendapatkan nilai mencapai KKM dari total siswa dalam kelas. Penilaian produk diperoleh 100% siswa mendapatkan nilai diatas KKM dan 0% siswa mendapatkan nilai dibawah KKM. Sehingga dengan perolehan nilai tersebut dapat dikatakan sebagian besar siswa melaksanakan praktik dengan baik membuat seni patung.
Oleh karena itu peneliti menggunakan bahan dasar kayu perca sebagai media belajar membuat patung melalui metode Project Based Learning (PjBL). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan (1) Bagaimana proses belajar seni patung dari bahan kayu perca pada siswa kelas IX SMP Muhammadiyah 16 Brondong Lamongan dari bahan kayu perca, (2) Bagaimana hasil belajar seni patung siswa kelas IX SMP Muhammadiyah 16 Brondong Lamongan dari bahan kayu perca, (3) Bagaimana refleksi dan evaluasi hasil belajar dengan kayu perca bagi kelas IX SMP Muhammadiyah 16 Brondong terhadap pemanfaatan kayu perca sebagai bahan membuat karya seni patung. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah, observasi, wawancara,dandokumentasi.Daridatayangtelahdikumpulkan, diperoleh 1) siswa belajar membuat patung dari kayu perca dengan baik sesuai prosedur dan arahan guru 2) sebagian besar hasil patung yang dibuat sesuai dengan kriteria penilaian berupa ide, komposisi, proporsi, kerapihan, dan kekuatan. 3) hasil evaluasi pembelajaran seni patung kayu perca mengenai pengetahuan dan hasil karya termasuk kedalam kategori baik. Sedangkan refleksi, seluruh siswa menyukai belajar membuat patung dengan metode PjBL.

Fine art is one of the sciences in cultural arts lessons studied at school. In its implementation, fine art material includes aspects of ability, namely appreciation based on mastery of theory and creation based on skill or skill. One of the fine arts materials taught at SMP Muhammadiyah 16 Brondong Lamongan is sculpture. However, in the practice of sculpture skills, teachers and students experience obstacles related to materials for making sculptures. The impact is that learning is less than optimal and students do not have the experience of making sculptures.
This study aims to describe the learning of sculpture by applying the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model, which includes the process, results, and evaluation of learning sculpture by utilizing patchwork wood materials in class IX students of SMP Muhammadiyah 16 Brondong Lamongan.
This research uses descriptive qualitative methods through data collection of observation, interviews, and documentation.
The results of this study indicate that in the process of learning sculpture students are able to apply and make sculptures from patchwork wood and can understand some materials, tools, and techniques. The results of sculpture work are said to be good with scores above the KKM in accordance with the assessment criteria in the form of composition, proportion, neatness, and strength. Based on the evaluation results, it can be describedthat active students in the sculpture practicegroupget scores that reach the KKM of the total students in the class. Product assessment obtained 100% of students get scores above KKM and 0% of students get scores below KKM. So that with the acquisition of these scores it can be said that most students carry out good practice in making sculpture.
Therefore, researchers use patchwork wood as a medium for learning to make sculptures through the Project Based Learning (PjBL) method. This research was conducted with the aim of (1) How is the process of learning sculpture art from patchwork wood for students of class IX SMP Muhammadiyah 16 Brondong Lamongan from patchwork wood, (2) How is the learning outcome of sculpture art for students of class IX SMP Muhammadiyah 16 Brondong Lamongan from patchwork wood, (3) How is the reflection and evaluation of learning outcomes with patchwork wood for class IX SMP Muhammadiyah 16 Brondong on the utilization of patchwork wood as a material for making sculpture art. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interview, and documentation. From the data that has been collected, it is obtained that 1) students learn to make sculptures from patchwork wood well according to the procedures and directions of the teacher 2) most of the sculptures made are in accordance with the assessment criteria in the form of ideas, composition, proportion, neatness, and strength. 3) the results of the evaluation of patchwork wood sculpture learning regarding knowledge and work are in the good category. While reflecting, all students liked learning to make sculptures with the PjBL method.
