POSTERS AS AN EFFORT TO MINIMIZE THE RISK OF WORK ACCIDENTS

Kecamatan Brondong, Lamongan adalah salah satu daerah yang berbatasan langsung dengan laut Jawa bagian utara, dimana terdapat Tempat Pelelangan Ikan (TPI) terbesar di Jawa Timur. Kondisi geografis ini, dimanfaatkan sebagian besar masyarakatnya bermata pencaharian sebagai nelayan. Kegiatan penangkapan ikan oleh nelayan Brondong, dilakukan selama satu hingga dua minggu di laut dengan risiko kecelakaan kerja yang tinggi ditambah dengan jauhnya jarak untuk kembali ke daratan, jika terjadi kecelakaan maka korban akan susah mendapatkan penanganan medis. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian bertujuan memberikan upaya preventif untuk meminimalisasi risiko kecelakaan kerja nelayan, melalui media poster guna meningkatkan kewaspadaan pada nelayan Brondong Lamongan. Penelitian menggunakan model ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation) karena bersifat sistematis dan evaluatif, sehingga dapat meminimalisasi kekurangan hasil perancangan. Penerapan poster dibagikan secara digital melalui grup komunitas nelayan Brondong di WhatsApp dan papan informasi di Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara (PPN).

Brondong District, Lamongan is one of the areas directly adjacent to the northern part of the Java Sea, where there is the largest Fish Auction Place (TPI) in East Java. This geographical condition is utilized by the majority of the people who have a livelihood as fishermen. Fishing activities by Brondong fishermen are carried out for one to two weeks at sea with a high risk of work accidents coupled with the long distance to return to land, if an accident occurs it will be difficult for the victim to get medical treatment. Therefore, the research aims to provide preventive measures to minimize the risk of fishermen's work accidents, through the media of posters to increase awareness of Brondong Lamongan fishermen. The research uses the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation) because it is systematic and evaluative, so it can minimize deficiencies in the design results. The application of the posters was distributed digitally through the Brondong fishing community group on WhatsApp and on information boards at the Nusantara Fishery Port (NFP).
