PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA INTERAKTIF "COMPLETING THE MISSION" BERBASIS ANDROID UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MATERI PERUBAHAN WUJUD BENDA KELAS V SD
IPA merupakan salah satu pelajaran yang ada di SD, pembelajaran IPA bertujuan melatih siswa dalam pemahaman konsep IPA yang bermanfaat untuk kehidupan sehari-hari, dan mengembangkan rasa ingin tahu. Kegiatan pembelajaran cenderung berpusat pada guru sehingga siswa kurang dilibatkan secara langsung, maka diperlukan media interaktif guna mengajak siswa aktif dalam pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan teknologi yaitu handphone. Penelitian pengembangan media interaktif “Completing The Mission” berbasis android bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran dengan muatan materi pelajaran perubahan wujud benda jenjang kelas V SD sebagai sarana pada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa serta guna mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan efektivitasnya. Pengembangan media interaktif “Completing The Mission” menggunakan jenis penelitian R&D model ADDIE oleh Dick and Carry (1996). Jumlah subjek penelitian sebanyak 10 siswa SDN Losari Kabupaten Jombang kelas V yang dipilih wali kelas secara acak. Klasifikasi kevalidan media diketahui dengan hasil uji validasi yang dilakukan ahli materi sebesar 88% masuk kriteria sangat valid, juga dari ahli media dengan persentase 88% dengan kategori sangat valid. Perolehan angket respon siswa dengan persentase 93,8% dengan kriteria sangat praktis, sedangkan hasil angket respon guru 96% dengan kriteria sangat praktis digunakan agar diketahui tingkat kepraktisan media. Efektivitas media didasarkan pada persentase ketuntasan belajar subjek yaitu siswa sebesar 90% tergolong kriteria sangat baik, dan peningkatan pemahaman siswa menunjukkan N-Gain hasil 0,71 dengan kriteria tinggi. Berdasarkan perolehan tersebut diartikan bahwa media efektif digunakan. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa media interaktif “Completing The Mission” layak untuk digunakan.

Science is one of the lessons in elementary school, learning science aims to train students in understanding
science concepts that are useful for everyday life, and develop curiosity. Learning activities tend to be
teacher centered so that students are not directly involved, so interactive media are needed to invite
students to be active in learning by utilizing technology, namely cellphones. Research on the development
of interactive media “Completing The Mission” based on Android aims to develop learning media with
subject matter content of changing the shape of objects at the fifth grade elementary school level as a
means to improve student learning outcomes and to determine its validity, practility, and effectiveness. The
development of interactive media “Completing The Mission” uses the type of R&D research model ADDIE
by Dick and Carry (1996). The number of subjects was 10 students of SDN Losari, Jombang Regency class
V who were randomly selected by homeroom teacher. The classification of the validity of the media is
known by the results of the validation test carried out by material experts of 88% including very valid
criteria, also from media experts with a percentage of 88% in the very valid category. The student
response questionnaire obtained with a percentage of 93,8% with very practical criteria, while the results
of teacher response questionnaire 96% with very practical criteria were used to determine the level of
practicality of the media. The effectiveness of the media is based on the percentage of mastery learning the
subject, namely 90% of students classified as very good criteria, and the increase in student understanding
shows the N-Gain result of 0,71 with high criteria. Based on the acquisition, it means that the media is
effectively used. So it can be concluded that the interactive media “Completing The Mission” is feasible to
use.
