Model pembelajaran discovery merupakan pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada peserta didik mulai dari pengamatan, hingga menarik kesimpulan dalam rangka menemukan konsep suatu prinsip. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan proses, hasil, tanggapan siswa tentang pembelajaran ragam hias berbasis budaya Gresik menggunakan model discovery learning di SMP Raudlatul Jannah.Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah kelas 7C sebanyak 23 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif.Proses pembelajaran ragam hias dimulai dari persiapan kelas sesuai dengan presedur pada modul ajar, kemudian melaksanakan kegiatan inti berupa tahapan model pembelajaran discovery yakni : stimulation, problem stetment, data collection , data processing, verification, dan generalization serta penutup di akhir proses pembelajaran. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pembelajaran ini adalah karya motif hias khas Gresik. Penilaian pembelajaran peserta didik diperoleh hasil rata rata dengan presentase nilai kategori baik (excellent) sejumlah 30, 43% dan (very good) sejumlah 39%, nilai kategori cukup baik (good) 26%, dan nilai kategori kurang 8,6% .Tanggapan peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran ragam hias menggunakan model discovery cenderung positif dengan rincian pada tahap persiapan peserta didik memberikan tanggapan sangat sesuai dengan presentase 73,91%, pada tahap pelaksanaan memperoleh 86,95%, dan pada tahap penilaian 86,95%.

The discovery learning model is student-oriented learning starting from observation, to drawing conclusions in order to discover the concept of a principle. This research aims to describe the process, results, and student responses regarding Gresik culture-based decorative learning using the discovery learning model at Raudlatul Jannah Middle School. The research uses qualitative methods. The research subjects were class 7C with 23 students. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, documentation. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis techniques. The decorative learning process starts from class preparation according to the procedures in the teaching module, then carrying out core activities in the form of stages of the discovery learning model, namely: stimulation, problem statement, data collection, data processing, verification, and generalization and closing at the end of the learning process. The results obtained from this learning are typical Gresik decorative motif works. The assessment of student learning obtained average results with a percentage of good category scores (excellent) of 30.43% and (very good) of 39%, good category scores of 26%, and poor category scores of 8.6%. Responses Students towards learning decorative variations using the discovery model tend to be positive, with details at the preparation stage students giving very appropriate responses with a percentage of 73.91%, at the implementation stage getting 86.95%, and at the assessment stage 86.95%.
