Berdasarkan pengamatan yang dilakukan pada beberapa sanggar yang ada di Kediri, ditemukan kekurangan dalam pengajaran pembelajaran menggambar. Salah satunya masih menggunakan metode pembelajaran demonstrasi, siswa hanya diberi kesempatan hanya mencontoh gambar yang sudah diberikan, dan tidak adanya buku khusus untuk melatih keterampilan menggambar anak. Sebagian besar kegiatan belajar mengajar menggambar diberikan oleh pengajar dengan metode ceramah. Komunikasi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran menggambar masih satu arah dan siswa cenderung pasif sehingga pembelajaran kurang mengasah kemampuan keterampilan siswa. Buku pembelajaran dengan menerapkan teknik Accelerated Drawing Technique (ADT) diharapkan dapat membantu proses pembelajaran anak menjadi lebih aktif, dan buku ini tidak hanya menekankan pada teknik menggambarnya saja, tetapi juga diharapkan mampu melatih kepekaan rasa yang berpengaruh pada psikologi anak dimana secara langsung anak dapat termotivasi belajar dengan menyenagkan dan proses pembelajaran lebih efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) proses pengembangan buku keterampilan menggambar Accelerated Drawing Technique (ADT) untuk anak usia 6-9 tahun, (2) kualitas buku keterampilan menggambar Accelerated Drawing Technique (ADT) untuk anak usia 6-9 tahun, (3) keefektifan buku keterampilan menggambar Accelerated Drawing Technique (ADT) untuk anak usia 6-9 tahun.
Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model ADDIE dengan tahapan Analize, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Data analisis dengan menggunakan perhutungan prosentase untuk validasi, respon, serta uji coba hasil belajar siswa.
Hasil penelitian diambil dari beberapa kategori sebagai berikut: (1) Proses pengembangan buku keterampilan menggambar terdiri dari 5 tahap yaitu pendefisian, tahap perancanngan, tahap pengembangan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi. (2) Kualitas buku keterampilan menggambar berdasarkan Kelayakan materi mendapatkan prosentase sebesar 97,7% dengan kategori sangat layak digunakan. Kelayakan Kegrafikan mendapatkan prosentase sebesar 90% dengan kategori sangat layak digunakan. Kelayakan Kebahasaan mendapatkan nilai prosentase sebesar 100% dengan kategori sangat layak digunakan. (3) keefektifan buku keterampilan menggambar dilihat dari respon guru mendapatkan prosentase sebesar 95,7% dengan kategori sangat layak. Respon siswa mendapatkan prosentase sebesar 93,75% dengan kategori sangat layak. Hasil belajar mendapatkan prosentase 93,3% dengan kategori sangat layak.

Based on observations made at several studios in Kediri, found deficiencies in teaching drawing learning. One of them is still using demonstration learning methods, students are only given the opportunity to just copy the pictures that have been given, and the absence of special books to practice drawing skills of children. Most of the teaching and learning activities in drawing are given by instructors with the lecture method. Communication in drawing learning activities is still one-way and students tend to be passive so learning is not sharpening the ability of students' skills. Learning books by applying the Accelerated Drawing Techniquetechnique are (ADT)expected to help the learning process of children become more active, and this book not only emphasizes drawing techniques, but is also expected to be able to practice the sensitivity of feeling that affects children's psychology where children can be motivated directly learning by fun and the learning process is more effective. This study aims to describe (1) the process of developing thedrawing skills book Accelerated Drawing Technique (ADT)for children aged 6-9 years, (2) the quality of thedrawing skills book Accelerated Drawing Technique (ADT)(ADT) for children aged 6-9 years, (3 ) the effectiveness of thedrawing skills book Accelerated Drawing Technique (ADT)for children aged 6-9 years.
This development research uses ADDIE model with the stages of Analize, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data analysis using percentage calculations for validation, response, and testing of student learning outcomes.
The results of the study were drawn from the following categories: (1) The process of developing a drawing skills book consisted of 5 stages, namely definition, planning stage, development stage, implementation stage and evaluation stage. (2) The quality of drawing skills books based on material Feasibility gets a percentage of 97.7% with the category very feasible to use. Eligibility of Graphic get a percentage of 90% with the category very feasible to use. Language Feasibility gets a percentage value of 100% with the category very feasible to use. (3) the effectiveness of the drawing skills book as seen from the teacher's response gets a percentage of 95.7% with a very decent category. Student responses get a percentage of 93.75% with a very decent category. Learning outcomes get a percentage of 93.3% with a very decent category.
