The
Problem Social Entrepreneurship model is a learning approach that combines
Problem-based Learning and Social Entrepreneurship by using real-world problems
to develop problem-solving skills, create creative, innovative solutions and
provide positive social impact. By integrating real-world experiences,
interactions, problem-solving, social entrepreneurship, and collaboration, this
model provides a solid foundation for continuous learning and prepares students
to become agents of social change that positively impact society and the
environment.
This
study aims to test the feasibility level of the Problem Social Entrepreneurship
model in designing packaging designs in the DKV Packaging course and test the
use of the Problem Social Entrepreneurship model can increase the independence,
creativity and personal social responsibility of students in the DKV Packaging
course.
The
research procedure for the development of the Problem Social Entrepreneurship
model adapts the steps of The Systematic Design of
Instruction Dick, Carey and Carey . The
data collection instruments consisted of questionnaires, validation sheets,
observation sheets, and student response questionnaires. The subjects of the
trial in this development research are 70 students. Data collection methods
include interviews, questionnaires, observations and documentation. The trial
was carried out through individual trials, small group trials and field trials
which were analyzed by means of qualitative and quantitative descriptive
analysis.
The
results of the study show that the development of the Problem Social
Entrepreneurship Learning Model has a
feasibility level with an overall average percentage of 100% (very good) in
designing packaging designs in the DKV Packaging course and based on the results of the post-test control group design test
with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, it can be stated that the use of
the Problem Social Entrepreneurship Model can be stated can increase student independence,
creativity and personal social responsibility in the DKV Packaging course.
