ABSTRAK
Penelitian memiliki tujuan mengetahui pengaruh latihan biceps curl dan latihan side lateral raise terhadap power otot lengan siswa ektrakulikuler. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan “two group pretest-posttest desain”. Kelompok A diberikan perilakuan latihan bicep curl dan kelompok B side lateral raise terhadap power otot lengan siswa ektrakulikuler. Populasi penelitian ini menggunakan siswa ektrakulikuler bola voly dan bulutangkis usia 17 tahun SMAN 1 Purwoasri Kediri. Sampel digunakan adalah kesuluruhan populasi yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Instrument penelitian ini menggunakan medicine ball test. Analisis data ini menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji sample t test.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Ada pengaruh yang signifikan latihan biceps curl terhadap power otot lengan siswa ektrakulikuler SMAN 1 Purwoasri, dengan nilai p 0.007 < 0.05 rata – rata peningkatan 198.0 joule/detik. Jika di presentasekan jumlah latihan bicep curl meningkat 11% dari pre dan post. (2) Ada pengaruh yang signifikan latihan side lateral raise terhadap power otot lengan siswa ektrakulikuler SMAN 1 Purwoasri dengan nilai p 0.009 < 0.05 rata – rata peningkatan 200.0 joulei/detik. Jika di presentase jumlah latihan side lateral raise meningkat 12% dari pre dan post. (3) Manakah yang bagus latihan biceps curl dan side lateral raise terhadap power otot lengan siswa ektarkulikuler SMAN 1 Purwoasri Kediri. Terlihat dari uji sample t test yang bagus menunjukkan latihan side lateral raise. Dikeranakan sudut dan lebar pada saat posisi membuka sangan lebar dibandingkan bicep curl.
Kesimpulan penelitian ini ialah rata – rata power otot lengan siswa ektrakulikuler 12 % dari peningkatan latihan dan latihan paling bagus ialah latihan side lateral raise. Saran ialah sebagai variasi latihan untuk ektrakulikuler SMAN 1 Purwoasri.

ABSTRACT
The aim of this study was to determine the effect of biceps curl and side lateral raise exercises on the arm muscle power of extracurricular students. This research is an experimental research with "two group pretest-posttest design". Group A was given the bicep curl exercise and B side lateral raise group exercises the arm muscle power of the extracurricular students. The study population used volleyball and badminton extracurricular students at the age of 17 at SMAN 1 Purwoasri Kediri. The sample used was a total population of 20 students. This research instrument uses a medicine ball test. This data analysis uses normality test and sample t test.
The results showed: (1) There was a significant effect of biceps curl exercise on the arm muscle strength of the extracurricular students of SMAN 1 Purwoasri, with a p value of 0.007 <0.05 - an average increase of 198.0 joules / second. When presented, the number of bicep curl exercises increased by 11% from pre and post. (2) There is a significant effect of side lateral raise exercises on the arm muscle power of the extracurricular students of Purwoasri SMAN 1 with a p value of 0.009 <0.05 - an average increase of 200.0 joules / second. If in percentage the amount of side lateral raise exercises increases 12% from pre and post. (3) Which is good for biceps curl and side lateral raise exercises for the arm muscle power of the extracurricular students of SMAN 1 Purwoasri Kediri. Seen from a good sample t test shows side lateral raise exercises. An angle and width are applied when the position is wide open compared to the bicep curl.
The conclusion of this study is the average arm muscle strength of extracurricular students 12% of the increase in exercise and the best exercise is side lateral raise. Suggestions are as variations of the training for SMAN 1 Purwoasri extracurricular.
