ANALISIS BIOMEKANIKA GERAKAN TENDANGAN DEPAN PADA ATLET PENCAK SILAT PAGAR NUSA DI PADEPOKAN KARUNASANKARA
BIOMECHANICAL ANALYSIS OF FRONT KICK MOVEMENTS IN PENCAK SILAT PAGAR NUSA ATHLETES AT THE KARUNASANKARA CENTER
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis biomekanika gerakan tendangan depan pada atlet pencak silat Pagar Nusa di Padepokan Karunasankara. Tendangan depan merupakan teknik dasar yang berperan penting dalam pencak silat kategori seni karena memengaruhi kemantapan gerakan dan perolehan poin. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitik dengan desain one-shot case study. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari empat atlet Pagar Nusa berusia 17–20 tahun. Data diperoleh melalui perekaman video gerakan tendangan depan dan dianalisis menggunakan software Kinovea untuk mengukur sudut gerak pada setiap fase, meliputi fase persiapan, pengangkatan kaki, tendangan, penarikan kaki, dan sikap akhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh atlet memiliki sikap awal dan akhir yang stabil dengan sudut 180°. Namun, terdapat variasi sudut fleksi dan ekstensi pada fase pengangkatan, tendangan, dan penarikan kaki yang memengaruhi efektivitas serta kemantapan gerakan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa analisis biomekanika efektif digunakan sebagai dasar evaluasi dan peningkatan teknik tendangan depan atlet pencak silat kategori seni.

This study aims to analyze the biomechanics of the front kick movement in Pagar Nusa pencak silat athletes at the Karunasankara Training Center. The front kick is a fundamental technique that plays an important role in the artistic category of pencak silat, as it influences movement stability and scoring performance. This research employed a descriptive analytical method with a one-shot case study design. The subjects consisted of four Pagar Nusa athletes aged 17–20 years. Data were collected through video recordings of front kick movements and analyzed using Kinovea software to measure joint angles at each movement phase, including the preparation, leg lift, kicking, leg retraction, and final stance phases. The results showed that all athletes demonstrated stable initial and final positions with a 180° angle, indicating good postural balance. However, variations in flexion and extension angles were found during the leg lift, kicking, and retraction phases, which affected movement effectiveness and stability. In conclusion, biomechanical analysis is effective as an objective evaluation tool and can be used to improve front kick technique in artistic-category pencak silat athletes.
