Implementasi Manajerial Kepala Sekolah Dalam Meningkitan Mutu Pendidikan di SDN Lidah Kulon 1 Surabaya
The Implementation of School Principal's Management in Improving the Quality of Education at SDN Lidah Kulon 1 Surabaya
Kepala sekolah memiliki peran sentral dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di sekolahnya. Kepemimpinan yang efektif dan strategis dari kepala sekolah dapat membawa dampak positif pada berbagai aspek pendidikan, seperti prestasi belajar siswa, profesionalisme guru, dan iklim sekolah yang kondusif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan manajerial kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SDN Lidah Kulon 1 Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitiannya adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala kesiswaan, wakil kepala kurikulum, dan wakil kepala sarpras. Penelitian ini menghasilkan beberapa temuan yaitu manajerial kepala sekolah SDN Lidah Kulon 1 tergolong cukup baik akan tetapi masih belum merata di beberapa sektor, terbukti dari terpenuhinya setiap tahapan dalam proses manajerial. Manajerial kepala sekolah tersebut meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan. Terdapat dua faktor yang mempengaruhi mutu pendidikan, 1.) faktor pendukung yang meliputi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, koordinasi, dan sumber daya manusia yang memadai, 2.) faktor penghambat meliputi sarana dan prasarana, anggaran, dan kurangnya hubungan kera sama sekolah dengan pihak-pihak lain serta wali murid. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa implementasi manajerial kepala sekolah memiliki kaitan yang erat dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan.

School principals have a central role in improving the quality of education in their schools. Effective and strategic leadership from school principals can have a positive impact on various aspects of education, such as student learning achievement, teacher professionalism, and a conducive school climate. This research aims to analyze the managerial application of school principals in improving the quality of education at SDN Lidah Kulon 1 Surabaya. This research uses a qualitative approach method. Data collection methods include interviews, observation and documentation. The research subjects were the school principal, deputy head of student affairs, deputy head of curriculum, and deputy head of infrastructure. This research produced several findings, namely that the managerial skills of the principal of SDN Lidah Kulon 1 were quite good, but were still not evenly distributed in several sectors, as evidenced by the fulfillment of each stage in the managerial process. The principals managerial duties include planning, organizing, implementing and supervising. There are two factors that influence the quality of education, 1.) supporting factors which include the principals leadership, coordination, and adequate human resources, 2.) inhibiting factors include facilities and infrastructure, budget, and lack of close relationships between the school and other parties. others as well as the students parents. The results of this research show that the managerial implementation of school principals is closely related to improving the quality of education.
