SUPERVISI AKADEMIK PENGAWAS SEKOLAH DI UPT SDN 249 GRESIK DAN UPT SDN 253 GRESIK
ACADEMIC SUPERVISION BY THE SCHOOL SUPERVISOR AT UPT SDN 249 GRESIK AND UPT SDN 253 GRESIK
Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis supervisi akademik pengawas sekolah di dua situs yang berbeda yaitu di UPT SDN 249 Gresik dan UPT SDN 253 Gresik, dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana supervisi akademik dalam tiga tahapan yaitu perencanaan supervisi akademik, pelaksanaan supervisi akademik, dan evaluasi supervisi akademik pada sekolah dasar tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan penelitian studi multisitus. Lokasi penelitian di UPT SDN 249 Gresik dan UPT SDN 253 Gresik. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu pengawas sekolah, kepala sekolah, dan guru di UPT SDN 249 Gresik dan UPT SDN 253 Gresik. Data yang diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi dianalisis dengan analisis kasus tunggal pada masing-masing situs, kemudian dilakukan analisis lintas situs di UPT SDN 249 Gresik dan UPT SDN 253 Gresik. Validasi datanya menggunakan kredibilitas, transferabilitas, dependabilitas, dan konfirmabilitas.
Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) perencanaan yang dilakukan oleh pengawas sekolah berjalan dalam beberapa tahap, yaitu pengawas menyusun kalender pengawasan, menyusun dokumen program pengawasan, penentuan jadwal supervisi ke masing-masing sekolah dengan koordinasi bersama kepala sekolah (2) Pengawas sekolah melaksanakan perannya sebagai pendamping di satuan Pendidikan. Dalam pelaksanaan supervisi akademik, pengawas sekolah menggunakan teknik supervisi akademik melalui kunjungan kelas dan rapat guru, dalam pelaksanaannya pengawas membawa instrumen sebagai alat bantu untuk mendapatkan hasil pengamatan. (3) Evaluasi supervisi akademik dengan melibatkan pengawas, kepala sekolah, dan guru melalui pertemuan untuk refleksi dan umpan balik hasil pengamatan pelaksanaan supervisi akademik, serta menentukan tindak lanjut berupa pembinaan yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan sekolah binaan.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the academic supervision conducted by the school supervisor at two different sites, namely UPT SDN 249 Gresik and UPT SDN 253 Gresik, and to describe how the academic supervision is carried out through three stages: the planning, implementation, and evaluation of academic supervision in those primary schools. This study employs a qualitative approach with a multisite study design. The research locations are UPT SDN 249 Gresik and UPT SDN 253 Gresik. The data sources in this study include the school supervisor, principals, and teachers at both schools. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using single-site analysis for each location, followed by cross-site analysis between UPT SDN 249 Gresik and UPT SDN 253 Gresik. Data validation was conducted through credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability.
The results of the study show that: (1) The planning carried out by the school supervisor involved several stages, including the preparation of a supervision calendar, development of supervision program documents, and the scheduling of academic supervision for each school in coordination with the principals. (2) The school supervisor fulfilled their role as a mentor in the educational units. In the implementation of academic supervision, the supervisor applied academic supervision techniques through classroom visits and teacher meetings, using supervision instruments as tools to gather observation results. (3) The evaluation of academic supervision was conducted by involving the supervisor, principals, and teachers through meetings for reflection and feedback on the supervision results, and for determining follow-up actions in the form of guidance tailored to the needs of the supervised schools.
