EKSPLORASI KONTEKS AKTIVITAS MASYARAKAT PETANI PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SD MELALUI CERITA DILEMATIS
EXPLORATION OF THE ACTIVITIES OF FARMERS CONTEXT IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL MATHEMATICS LEARNING THROUGH DILEMMAS STORIES
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi konsep matematika yang ditemukan melalui pengalaman peneliti berinteraksi dengan masyarakat petani di daerahnya dan menyusun rancangan soal cerita dilematis dalam pembelajaran matematika SD serta untuk mengetahui pandangan guru terkait hasil ekplorasi konsep matematika dan rancangan soal cerita dilematis dengan konteks aktivitas masyarakat petani. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kualitatif transformatif. Penelitian transformatif adalah penelitian yang berdasarkan refleksi kritis dari diri peneliti. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode auto|etnography dan multiparadigm yaitu postmodernism, interpretivism dan criticalism. Hasil penelitian transformatif ini adalah adanya konsep matematika SD yang ditemukan dalam aktivitas pertanian. Konsep matematika tersebut terdapat dalam aktivitas menghitung, mengukur, dan membilang. Kemudian peneliti menyusun soal matematika SD yang mengandung cerita dilematis dengan konteks pertanian. Pandangan guru terhadap hasil identifikasi konsep matematika dan rancangan soal cerita dilematis dengan konteks aktivitas masyarakat petani yaitu konsep matematika SD terdapat dalam aktivitas pertanian dan soal cerita dilematis dengan konteks pertanian dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif pembelajaran matematika SD. Adanya temuan ini diharapkan pembelajaran matematika SD melalui cerita dilematis dengan konteks aktivitas masyarakat petani dapat melatih proses berfikir kritis dan matematis siswa dalam memecahkan masalah serta kemampuan mengambil keputusan sehingga dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dalam belajar.

This research aims to identify which mathematical concepts are discovered through the experience of researchers to interact with the farmers in her region and draft a question of dilemmas stories in elementary school mathematics learning as well as to determine the views of teachers regarding the results of the exploration mathematical concepts and draft a question of dilemmas stories with the farmers activities context. This research is a qualitative transformative research type. Transformative research is research based on critical reflection from the researcher. This research uses auto|etnography and multiparadigm methods it is postmodernism, interpretivism, and criticalism. The results of this transformative research is the elementary school mathematics concept found in agricultural activities. The mathematics concept is contained in the activity of counting, measuring, and counting. Then the researchers compose a elementary school mathematics question which contains the dilemma story with agriculture context. The views of teachers on the results of identification a mathematical concept and design a question of dilemmas stories with the activity of farmers context is elementary school mathematics concept contained in the agricultural activities and a question of dilemmas stories with agriculture context can be used as an alternative elementay school mathematics learning. With these findings, it is hoped elementary school mathematic learning through the dilemmas stories with farmers activities context can train students critical and mathematical thinking processes in problem-solving and the ability to make decisions so that it can improve students understanding in learning.
