HUBUNGAN KOMPETENSI TUTOR DAN MINAT BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK PAKET B PADA MATA PELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA DAN MATEMATIKA DI PKBM BUDI UTAMA SURABAYA 

THE RELATIONSHIP OF TUTOR COMPETENCE AND PACKAGE B STUDENTS' LEARNING INTEREST IN INDONESIAN LANGUAGE AND MATHEMATICS SUBJECTS AT PKBM BUDI UTAMA SURABAYA

Pendidikan kesetaraan adalah program pendidikan nonformal yang menyelenggarakan pendidikan umum setara SD/MI, SMP/MTs, dan SMA/MA yang mencakup program paket A, paket B, dan paket C. penyelenggaraan pembelajaran atau kegiatan pendidikan luar sekolah dipengaruhi oleh beberapa komponen diantaranya adalah tutor dan tutor menjadi komponen yang lebih diutamakan. Berdasarkan perspektif kebijakan nasional, pemerintah telah merumuskan empat jenis kompetensi tutor, sebagaimana tercantum dalam peraturan pemerintah No 19 tahun 2005 tentang standart nasional pendidikan yaitu kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi kepribadian, kompetensi professional, dan kompetensi sosial. Sedangkan minat belajar adalah kesadaran atau kecondongan hati untuk melakukan suatu hal contohnya dalam belajar.

                Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kompetensi tutor, minat belajar dan mengetahui hubungan kompetensi tutor dan minat belajar terutama dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dan Matematika pada peserta didik paket B di PKBM Budi Utama Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional. Responden yang terlibat 30 orang, dimana sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan studi populasi yaitu para peserta didik paket B. teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus rank spearman untuk menganalisis hasil angket tersebut.

                Kompetensi tutor dan minat belajar tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan. Hal ini ditunjukan dengan nilai signifikan sebesar >0,05. Nilai korelasi pada tiap mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia sebesar -0,068, dan Matematika sebesar -0,188. Hasil dari perhitungan data tersebut disimpulkan bahwa besarnya nilai korelasi tidak mempengaruhi nilai signifikasi kompetensi tutor pada tiap mata pelajaran yang diuji dan bisa dikatakan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang kuat antara kompetensi tutor dan minat belajar siswa.

Equivalent education is a non-formal education program that provides general education equivalent to SD/MI, SMP/MTs, and SMA/MA which includes package A, package B, and package C programs. The implementation of learning or educational activities outside of school is influenced by several components, including tutors. and tutors are the preferred component. Based on a national policy perspective, the government has formulated four types of tutor competence, as stated in government regulation No. 19 of 2005 concerning national education standards, namely pedagogic competence, personality competence, professional competence and social competence. Meanwhile, interest in learning is awareness or inclination to do something, for example in studying.

The aim of this research is to determine tutor competence, interest in learning and determine the relationship between tutor competence and interest in learning, especially in Indonesia Language and Mathematics subjects for package B students at PKBM Budi Utama Surabaya. This research uses a correlational quantitative approach. There were 30 respondents involved, where the sample used in this research used a population study, namely package B students. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique uses the Spearman rank formula to analyze the results of the questionnaire.

Tutor competence and interest in learning do not have a significant relationship. This is indicated by a significant value of >0.05. The correlation value for each Indonesian language subject is -0.068, and mathematics is -0.188. The results of the data calculations concluded that the magnitude of the correlation value did not affect the significance value of tutor competence in each subject and it could be said that there was no strong relationship between tutor competence and student interest in learning.
