Mediation Effects of Work Engagement Variables on the Effect of Job Resourcefulness on Individual Crafting and Collaborative Crafting

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh job resourcefulness terhadap individual crafting dan Collaborative crafting melalui work engagement sebagai variabel mediator. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan metode angket. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 100 karyawan dari hotel bintang 4 di seluruh kota Surabaya yang terdaftar di Traveloka. Penelitian ini menggunakan Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan bantuan software Smart PLS 3.0 sebagai analisis statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, job resourcefulness berpengaruh langsung positif signifikan terhadap individual crafting dan memiliki pengaruh individu yang signifikan dan positif terhadap individual crafting melalui work engagement pada karyawan hotel bintang 4. Kecerdasan kerja ditemukan memiliki pengaruh langsung yang signifikan dan negatif pada kerajinan kolaboratif. Job resourcefulness berpengaruh langsung secara signifikan secara tidak langsung terhadap Collaborative Crafting melalui work engagement karyawan hotel bintang 4. Implikasi dari penelitian ini perlu ditingkatkannya kerja sama karyawan dengan melibatkan seluruh karyawan dalam pengadaan forum diskusi, sehingga dapat menyelaraskan pemikiran antar karyawan di perusahaan sehingga dengan adanya forum tersebut akan terjadi kesamaan persepsi sehingga bekerja kerjasama dapat terjalin dengan baik.

This study was aimed to examine the influence of job resourcefulness towards individual crafting and collaborative crafting through work engagement as mediator variable. This research use a quantitative approach, with using questionnaire method. The sample in this study amounted to 100 employees from 4-star hotels throughout the city of Surabaya who are registered in the Traveloka. This research used Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the assistance of Smart PLS 3.0 software as the statistics analysis. The result of this research show that, job resourcefulness has a significant positive direct influence on individual crafting and has a significant and positive individual influence on individual crafting through work engagement on 4 star hotel employees. Job resourcefulness is found to have a significant and negative direct influence on collaborative crafting. Job resourcefulness has a significantly direct indirect influence on collaborative crafting through work engagement 4 star hotel employees. The implications of this study need to increase the collaborative crafting employees by involving all employees in the procurement of discussion forums, so they can harmonize the thought between employees in the company so that the existence of the forum there will be similarities of perceptions so that work collaboration can be well established.
