Pengembangan E-book Interaktif Materi Pewarisan Sifat untuk Melatihkan Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Peserta Didik Kelas XII SMA
Development of Heredity Interactive E-book to Train Critical Thinking Skill for 12th Grade in Senior High
School
Pandemi virus Corona telah mengubah pola pembelajaran beralih menjadi sistem pembelajaran dari rumah.
Walaupun demikian, peserta didik harus tetap mendapatkan pembelajaran yang tepat serta mampu melatih
keterampilan berpikir kritis sesuai keterampilan abad 21. Oleh sebab itu, keberadaan E-book yang interaktif
sangat diperlukan peserta didik, karena meskipun belajar dari rumah masih dapat memperoleh
pembelajaran yang melibatkan peranan peserta didik secara langsung. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu
menghasilkan E-book interaktif materi Pewarisan Sifat untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis
peserta didik kelas XII SMA yang valid dan praktis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan
yang mengacu pada model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation).
Parameter yang diukur adalah validitas E-book yang dinilai berdasarkan komponen penyajian, isi, dan
bahasa oleh ahli media, ahli materi dan satu guru Biologi, dan kepraktisan E-book yang diperoleh dari hasil
tes keterbacaan berdasarkan grafik Fry dan respon sepuluh peserta didik kelas XII SMA Labschool Unesa
1. Data yang di peroleh dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan E-
book memperoleh persentase rata-rata skor validitas sebesar 97,25% dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil
kepraktisan E-book memperoleh rata-rata keterbacaan berada pada level 12 dan menunjukkan respon
positif dari peserta didik dengan rata-rata skor sebesar 98,51% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Dengan
demikian, dapat disimpulkan E-book interaktif materi Pewarisan Sifat untuk melatihkan keterampilan
berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas XII SMA dinyatakan sangat valid dan sangat praktis sebagai media
pembelajaran.

The Coronavirus pandemic has changed the learning tract into home learning system. However, student
must still receive proper learning and that can practice the critical thinking skills according to demands of
the 21st century. Therefore, the existence of interactive E-book is very much needed by students, because
even though learning from home can still get involving learning that involves the role of student directly.
The purpose of this research was to introduced a Heredity interactive E-book to train critical thinking
skills for 12th grade in senior high school. This research was conducted using a development model that
refers to ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. The parameters
measured were the validity of the E-book which asessed based on presentation, content, and language
components by media experts, material experts, and Biology teachers, and the practicality of the E-book
obtained from the result of the readability test based on the Fry chart and ten responses from students in
12th grade of SMA Labschool Unesa 1. The data obtained were analyzed descriptive-quantitatively. The
result showed that the E-book has an average percentage of the validity score of 97,25% with a very valid
category. The practicality of E-book, the average readibility was at level 12 and showed positive responses
from students with average score of 98,51%, in the very practical category. Therefore, it could be
concluded that Heredity interactive E-book to train critical thinking skill for 12th grade in senior high
school are declared very valid and very practical as learning media.
