STRATEGI JOYFUL LEARNING DALAM PELATIHAN DAN PERTUNJUKAN TARI TRADISIONAL DI KBRI MANILA MELALUI PROGRAM INTERNSHIP
JOYFUL LEARNING STRATEGIES IN TRAINING AND PERFORMING TRADITIONAL DANCE AT THE INDONESIAN EMBASSY IN MANILA THROUGH AN INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Ketertarikan pada fenomena tersebut yaitu tari atau
kesenian tradisional sangat menjadi perhatian bagi pihak KBRI.
Tujuan tersebut yaitu untuk menjalin kesinambungan dan
keberlanjutan terhadap nilai-nilai nasionalisme Indonesia melalui
pelatihan seni tari tradisional daerah Indonesia kepada
masyarakat di KBRI Manila. Laporan ini menggunakan
pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode demonstrasi dan
strategi Joyful learning. Rumusan masalah dalam laporan ini
antarlain: 1) Bagaimana penerapan strategi Joyful learning pada
proses pelatihan tari tradisional pada ibu DWP di KBRI Manila
Republik Filipina. 2) Bagimana pelaksanaan pertunjukan tari
tradisional di KBRI Manila.
Hasil proses pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa strategi Joyful
learning efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi peserta pelatihan
serta metode demonstrasi memudahkan pemahaman gerakan tari.
Pelatihan yang berlangsung selama empat bulan berhasil
menghasilkan beberapa pertunjukan tari tradisional pada
berbagai kegiatan resmi KBRI. Simpulan dari laporan ini menunjukkan bahwa
pelaksanaan pelatihan dan pertunjukan tari melalui program
internship mampu meningkatkan apresiasi seni tari tradisional bagi
WNI di Filipina. Strategi Joyful learning terbukti efektif
meningkatkan keterlibatan peserta serta membangun apresiasi
pada kesenian tradisional. Dengan demikian, program ini dapat
menjadi model dalam upaya pelestarian budaya dan penguatan
diplomasi budaya Indonesia di luar negeri.

The interest in this phenomenon, namely traditional dance or art,
is of great concern to the Indonesian Embassy. The goal is to establish
continuity and sustainability of Indonesian nationalism values through
training in traditional Indonesian dance to the community at the
Indonesian Embassy in Manila. This report uses a descriptive qualitative
approach with demonstration methods and Joyful learning strategies. The
problem formulations in this report include: 1) How is the application of
Joyful learning strategy in the process of traditional dance training for
DWP mothers at the Indonesian Embassy in Manila, Republic of the
Philippines? 2) How is the implementation of traditional dance
performances at the Indonesian Embassy in Manila
The results of the training process show that the Joyful learning
strategy is effective in increasing the motivation of trainees and the
demonstration method facilitates understanding of dance movements.
The four-month training successfully resulted in several traditional
dance performances at various official activities of the Indonesian Embassy.
The conclusion of this report shows that the implementation of
dance training and performance through the internship program is able
to increase the appreciation of traditional dance for Indonesian citizens
in the Philippines. The Joyful learning strategy proved effective in
increasing participant engagement and building appreciation for
traditional arts. Thus, this program can be a model in efforts to preserve
culture and strengthen Indonesian cultural diplomacy abroad.
