PENERAPAN TEKNIK ECOPRINT PADA PRODUK NON BAHAN SANDANG DI DESA SIMO SLAHUNG KABUPATEN PONOROGO

Masyarakat Desa Simo Kecamatan Slahung saat ini sebagian besar menjadi perajin sangkar burung. Berdasarkan observasi yang telah dilakukan, kegiatan tersebut memakan waktu luang yang sebenarnya bisa dimanfaatkan untuk lebih produktif. Peneliti ingin mengembangkan ragam produk kerajinan yang diproduksi dengan memanfaatkan sumber daya alam berupa ragam flora yang melimpah  untuk dijadikan produk dengan teknik ecoprint. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan potensi sumber daya alam dan sumber daya manusia di Desa Simo Slahung Kabupaten Ponorogo yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk penerapan teknik ecoprint. (2) Mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan proses penerapan ecoprint pada produk non bahan sandang di Desa Simo Slahung Kabupaten Ponorogo. (3) Mendeskripsikan  hasil karya ecoprint pada produk non bahan sandang di Desa Simo Slahung Kabupaten Ponorogo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Proses pengumpulan data melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan uji keabsahan data dilakukan menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) Desa Simo Slahung memiliki potensi sumber daya manusia produktif sebagai penggerak pemerintah desa dan sumber daya alam yang sangat memenuhi dari segi banyaknya jenis flora  yang dapat dimanfaatkan pada penerapan teknik ecoprint. (2) Kemampuan masyarakat dalam memahami penerapan teknik pukul/pounding pada ecoprint sangat baik sehingga masyarakat menjadi lebih kreatif dan produktif. (3) Hasil produk non bahan sandang yang diciptakan antara lain sarung bantal, taplak meja, sarung galon, sarung tudung saji, dan dompet memiliki nilai seni estetik dan keragaman dari berbagai motif daun maupun bunga. Hal ini menambah keberagaman hasil UMKM setempat.

The community of Simo Village, Slahung sub-district is now a big bird cage craftsman. Based on the observations that have been done, this activity still leaves a lot of free time that can actually be used to be more productive. Researchers want to develop a variety of handicraft products produced by utilizing natural resources in the form of a variety of abundant flora made into products with ecoprint techniques. The purpose of this research is (1) Knowing and describing the potential of natural resources and human resources in Simo Slahung Village Ponorogo Regency that can be used for the application of ecoprint techniques. (2) Knowing and describing the process of applying ecoprint on non-clothing products in Simo Slahung Village, Ponorogo Regency. (3) Describe the work of ecoprint on non-clothing products in Simo Slahung Village, Ponorogo Regency. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method. The process of collecting data through observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. While the data validity test is carried out using triangulation techniques. The result of this research is (1) Simo Slahung Village has the potential of productive human resources as the driver of village government and natural resources that are very fulfilling in terms of the many types of flora that can be utilized in the application of ecoprint techniques. (2) The ability of the community to understand the application of pounding techniques in ecoprint is very good so that the community becomes more creative and productive. (3) The results of non-clothing products created include pillowcases, tablecloths, gallon sarongs, serving hoods, and wallets have aesthetic artistic value and diversity of various leaf and flower motifs. This adds to the diversity of local micro bussines results.
