Pengaruh Motivasi Belajar dan Locus of Control terhadap Kesiapan Kerja Mahasiswa Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran Universitas Negeri Surabaya

The Influence of Learning Motivation and Locus of Control on the Work Readiness of Office Administration Students at Surabaya State University

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa pendidikan adminitrasi perkantoran Universitas Negeri Surabaya, pengaruh locus of control terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa pendidikan adminitrasi perkantoran Universitas Negeri Surabaya, serta pengaruh motivasi belajar dan locus of control terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa pendidikan adminitrasi perkantoran Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksplanatori. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Program Studi S1 Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran FEB UNESA. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa S1 Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran angkatan 2021 dan 2022. Sampel penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa PAP angkatan 2021 dan 2022 dengan perhiungan sample size calculator dan teknik proportional random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan skala likert dan wawancara studi pendahuluan. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar angket dan lembar wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji coba instrumen validitas dan reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik (normalitas, heteroskedastisitas, multikolinearitas) dan uji hipotesis (uji t, uji f, koefisien determinasi) dalam regresi linear berganda berbantuan software SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variabel motivasi belajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran Universitas Negeri Surabaya, variabel locus of control berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran Universitas Negeri Surabaya, serta motivasi belajar dan locus of control berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran Universitas Negeri Surabaya baik secara bersamaan. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah motivasi belajar dan locus of control yang semakin meningkat, maka kesiapan kerjanya juga meningkat. Disarankan kepada pihak universitas terutama pada program studi S1 Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran untuk memperkuat pembinaan motivasi belajar dan pengembangan karakter mahasiswa guna mendukung kesiapan mereka menghadapi dunia kerja.

This study aims to analyze the effect of learning motivation on work readiness of office administration education students at Surabaya State University, the effect of locus of control on work readiness of office administration education students at Surabaya State University, and the effect of learning motivation and locus of control on work readiness of office administration education students at Surabaya State University. The research method used is a quantitative approach with an explanatory type of research. This research was conducted at the Undergraduate Study Program of Office Administration Education, FEB UNESA. The population of this study were all undergraduate students of Office Administration Education class of 2021 and 2022. The sample of this study were PAP students in batches 2021 and 2022 with a sample size calculator and proportional random sampling technique. The data collection technique used a questionnaire with a Likert scale and preliminary study interviews. The research instruments used questionnaire sheets and interview sheets. The data analysis techniques used were validity and reliability instrument tests, classical assumption tests (normality, heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity) and hypothesis testing (t test, f test, coefficient of determination) in multiple linear regression assisted by SPSS software version 25. The results showed that the learning motivation variable had a positive and significant effect on the work readiness of Surabaya State University Office Administration Education students, the locus of control variable had a positive and significant effect on the work readiness of Surabaya State University Office Administration Education students, and learning motivation and locus of control had a positive and significant effect on the work readiness of Surabaya State University Office Administration Education students both simultaneously. The conclusion of this study is that the increasing learning motivation and locus of control, the work readiness also increases. It is recommended to the university, especially in the S1 Office Administration Education study program to strengthen the development of learning motivation and character development of students to support their readiness to face the world of work.
