ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, peningkatan berpikir kreatif dan respon siswa terhadap penerapan model problem based instruction. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pra-experimental dengan desain one group pretest-posttest design. Kelas XI MIA 1 sebagai subjek penelitian. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode validasi, observasi, tes dan kuosioner. Analisis kemampuan berpikir kreatif dengan uji n-gain score dan uji t-berpasangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Keterlaksanaan penerapan model problem based instruction memperoleh presentase sebesar 91% dengan kategori sangat baik (2) Siswa mengalami peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif signifikan dengan taraf signifikan 5% didukung dengan perolehan n-gain score pada indikator fluency (lancar) sebesar 0,90 dalam kategori tinggi; pada indikator flexibility (luwes) sebesar 0,85 dalam kategori tinggi: pada indikator originality (pembaruan) sebesar 0,86 dalam kategori tinggi dan pada indikator elaboration (merinci) sebesar 0,77 dalam kategori tinggi (3) Memperoleh respon yang positif dari siswa dengan presentase 97% dalam kategori sangat baik. Secara keseluruhan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model problem based instruction dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to describe the feasibility of learning, increasing creative thinking and student responses to the application of problem based instruction models. The type of research used in this study was pre-experimental with the design of one group pretest-posttest design. Class XI MIA 1 as the subject of research. Data collection uses validation, observation, test and questionnaire methods. Analysis of creative thinking skills with n-gain score test and paired t-test. The results showed that: (1) The implementation of the problem based instruction model obtained a percentage of 91% with very good categories (2) Students experienced a significant increase in creative thinking skills with a significant level of 5% supported by the acquisition of n-gain scores on fluency indicators (smooth ) of 0.90 in the high category; on the indicator of flexibility (flexible) of 0.85 in the high category: on the indicator of originality (renewal) of 0.86 in the high category and on the indicator elaboration (detailing) of 0.77 in the high category (3) Getting a positive response from students with a percentage of 97% in the excellent category. Overall it can be concluded that the application of the problem based instruction model can improve students' creative thinking abilities.
