STUDI TENTANG MODEL DAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN PADA MATA PELAJARAN ESTIMASI BIAYA KONSTRUKSI DI SMK

THE STUDY OF LEARNING MODELS AND MEDIA ON CONSTRUCTION COST ESTIMATION ACADEMIC SUBJECTS IN VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOLS

Permasalahan utama pada mata pelajaran produktif Estimasi Biaya Konstruksi (EBK) yaitu peserta didik kurang memahami komponen-komponen materi, sehingga EBK terkesan sebagai mata pelajaran yang sulit. Penggunaan model dan media pembelajaran yang tepat diharapkan dapat mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Tujuan dilaksanakannya penelitian ilmiah ini, antara lain: (1) mengetahui model pembelajaran yang tepat untuk diterapkan pada pembelajaran mata pelajaran Estimasi Biaya Konstruksi di SMK, (2) mengetahui media pembelajaran yang efektif untuk pembelajaran mata pelajaran Estimasi Biaya Konstruksi di SMK. Metode yang diterapkan pada penelitian adalah Meta-Analisis. Sumber data utama yaitu data sekunder dari sepuluh jurnal dan skripsi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pemberian kode (coding category), perhitungan  effect size dan disimpulkan. Hasil perhitungan effect size penelitian penerapan model pembelajaran metode Kooperatif Group Investigation dan media pembelajaran Powerpoint memiliki effect size tertinggi sebesar 3,35, dikonversikan ke dalam daftar kurva normal menjadi 0,4996. Nilai tersebut berarti penerapan model Kooperatif Group Investigation dengan media pembelajaran Powerpoint memberikan pengaruh sebanyak 49,96% terhadap keberhasilan belajar bagi peserta didik pada pembelajaran Estimasi Biaya Estimasi di SMK. Model pembelajaran yang tepat untuk diterapkan pada pembelajaran mata pelajaran Estimasi Biaya Konstruksi di SMK adalah Kooperatif Group Investigation, dan media pembelajaran yang efektif untuk pembelajaran mata pelajaran Estimasi Biaya Konstruksi di SMK adalah Powerpoint.

The main problem in the productive academic subjects of Construction Cost Estimation is that students do not understand the components of the material, so Construction Cost Estimation academic subjects is impressed as a difficult subject. The use of appropriate learning models and media is expected to overcome these problem. The objectives of this scientific research are, among others: (1) to find out the appropriate learning model to be applied to the learning of Construction Cost Estimation subjects in Vocational High Schools, (2) to determine effective learning media for learning Construction Cost Estimation subjects in Vocational High Schools. The method applied to the research is Meta-Analysis. The main data sources are secondary data from ten journals and theses. Data analysis was carried out by coding (coding category), calculating effect size and concluded. The results of the calculation of the effect size of the study using the Cooperative Group Investigation method learning model and Powerpoint learning media have the highest effect size of 3.35, converted into a list of normal curves to 0.4996. This value means that the application of the Cooperative Group Investigation model with Powerpoint learning media has an effect of 49.96% on learning success for students in learning Cost Estimation in Vocational Schools. The appropriate learning model to be applied to the subject of Construction Cost Estimation in SMK is Cooperative Group Investigation, and the effective learning media for learning the subject of Construction Cost Estimation in Vocational High Schools is Powerpoint.
