Film merupakan karya seni audiovisual berupa rangkaian gambar bergerak yang membentuk cerita serta menyampaikan pesan tertentu. Melalui media film, terdapat komunikasi antar tokoh yang diwujudkan dalam bentuk tuturan. Dalam kajian linguistik, tuturan ini berkaitan erat dengan ranah pragmatik, khususnya teori tindak tutur. Tindak tutur merupakan penggunaan bahasa untuk menyampaikan makna sekaligus melakukan tindakan melalui ujaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan film serial drama romantis Jerman Die Kaiserin episode 5 di Netflix sebagai sumber data. Penelitian ini mengklasifikasikan data ke dalam tiga jenis tindak tutur: lokusi, ilokusi, dan perlokusi. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik simak dan catat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tindak tutur lokusi mencakup bentuk deklaratif, interogatif, imperatif, eksklamatif, dan optatif. Tindak tutur ilokusi meliputi asertif, direktif, komisif, ekspresif, dan deklaratif. Sementara itu, tindak tutur perlokusi menampilkan efek ujaran terhadap mitra tutur berupa respon verbal, tindakan lanjutan, atau perubahan sikap sebagai reaksi dari tuturan yang diterima.
Film is an audio-visual work of art in the form of a series of moving images that form a story and convey certain messages. Through film media, there is communication between characters that is realized in the form of speech. In linguistic studies, this speech is closely related to the realm of pragmatics, especially the theory of speech acts. Speech acts are the use of language to convey meaning as well as perform actions through utterances. This research uses the German romantic drama series Die Kaiserin episode 5 on Netflix as the data source. This research classifies the data into three types of speech acts: locution, illocution, and perlocution. The method used is descriptive qualitative with listening and note-taking techniques. The results show that locutionary speech acts include declarative, interrogative, imperative, exclamative, and optative forms. Illocutionary speech acts include assertive, directive, commissive, expressive, and declarative. Meanwhile, perlocutionary speech acts display speech effects on speech partners in the form of verbal responses, further actions, or changes in attitude as a reaction to the speech received.
