THE FORM OF PRESENTING THE “SPEKTRUM” MUSIC PROGRAM ON TVRI EAST JAVA DURING THE DIGITAL TELEVISION BROADCASTING PERIOD
“Spektrum” merupakan program acara musik di stasiun TVRI Jawa Timur yang menampilkan berbagai performer musik dari beragam aliran genre Rock, Reggae, Pop, Blues, dan Jazz. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bentuk penyajian musik dari “Spektrum” pada masa penyiaran televisi digital serta pengaruh implementasi penyiaran televisi digital terhadap kualitas program musik “Spektrum” dari masa penyiaran analog hingga digital. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Kualitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh dari observasi, dokumentasi, studi literatur, dan wawancara dengan narasumber TVRI yakni Kepala Produser xi dan Sutradara program musik “Spektrum”. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yakni terdapat adanya perbedaan terkait kualitas penyajian sebelum dan sesudah siaran digital yang terlihat pada penggunaan panel layar LED Videotron, efek suara Surround yang lebih murni, penggunaan dua mixer dan kabel SDI, serta implementasi kualitas tayangan yang meningkat menjadi resolusi 1080p hingga 4K dan telah mendukung suara multi-channel, seperti Surround 5.1 hingga Surround 7.1.
"Spektrum" is a music program on TVRI East Java that features various musical performers from various genres of Rock, Reggae, Pop, Blues and Jazz. The purpose of this study was to determine the form of music presentation from "Spektrum" during digital television broadcasting and the influence of the implementation of digital television broadcasting on the quality of the "Spektrum" music program from analog to digital broadcasting. This type of research is qualitative research. Research data were obtained from observation, documentation, literature studies, and interviews with TVRI sources, namely the Chief Producer and Director of the xiii music program "Spektrum". The research results obtained are that there are differences regarding the quality of presentation before and after digital broadcasts which can be seen in the use of Video tron LED screen panels, purer Surround sound effects, use of two mixers and SDI cables, and implementation of broadcast quality that increases to 1080p resolution up to 4K and has supported multichannel sound, such as Surround 5.1 to Surround 7.1.
