Hubungan antara Kepribadian Proaktif dengan Perilaku Inovatif pada Guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri
Relationship between Proactive Personality and Innovative Behavior of State Vocational High School Teachers
Guru mempunyai peranan penting di dunia pendidikan sebegai penggerak utama dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui korelasi antara kepribadian proaktif dengan perilaku inovatif pada guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri. Metode kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Teknik sampling yang digunakan berupa sampel jenuh yang subjeknya terdiri dari 85 guru. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen skala ukur psikologis dari variabel kepribadian proaktif dan variabel perilaku inovatif. Analisis data yang diterapkan dalam penelitian berupa uji korelasi pearson product moment dengan bantuan software SPSS 25.0 for windows. Hasil analisis data didapatkan bahwa taraf signifikansinya sebesar 0,000 (p<0,05) sehingga dapat dimaknai adanya korelasi yang signifikan antara variabel kepribadian proaktif dengan perilaku inovatif. Nilai koefisien korelasi yang didapatkan yaitu 0,796 (r=0,796) yang artinya hubungan antara variabel kepribadian proaktif dengan variabel perilaku inovatif termasuk kategori yang kuat. Kepribadian proaktif yang semakin tinggi, maka perilaku inovatif yang ditampakkan guru akan tinggi juga, sebaliknya semakin rendah kepribadian proaktif, semakin rendah pula perilaku inovatif guru.
Teachers have an important role in the world of education as the main driver in teaching and learning activities. The purpose of this study is to determine the correlation between proactive personality and innovative behavior in State Vocational High School teachers. Quantitative methods are used in this study. The sampling technique used was in the form of a saturated sample whose subjects consisted of 85 teachers. The data collection technique uses psychological scale instruments from proactive personality variables and innovative behavior variables. The data analysis applied in the study was in the form of a pearson product moment correlation test with the help of SPSS 25.0 for windows software. The results of the data analysis showed that the significance level was 0.000 (p<0.05) so that it could be interpreted that there was a significant correlation between the proactive personality variable and innovative behavior. The correlation coefficient value obtained was 0.796 (r=0.796) which means that the relationship between the proactive personality variable and the innovative behavior variable is a strong category. The higher the proactive personality, the higher the innovative behavior shown by the teacher, the lower the proactive personality, the lower the teacher's innovative behavior.
