Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pengembangan buku cerita rakyat interaktif “Banyubiru” untuk ekoliterasi aspek sosial emosional anak usia 5-6 tahun meliputi (1) proses pengembangan, (2) validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan buku yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development/R&D) model Planning, Production, Evaluation (PPE) menurut Richey dan Klein (2009). Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut. (1) Pada tahap perencanaan, dilakukan studi literatur dan studi lapangan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis untuk membuat rancangan buku cerita rakyat “Banyubiru”. Pada tahap produksi, dibuat prototipe buku cerita. Pada tahap evaluasi, dilakukan validasi produk kepada 3 ahli dan 5 praktisi, serta uji lapangan terbatas pada 6 anak usia 6 tahun. (2) Validitas materi/isi produk yang dikembangkan yaitu 78,8%, bahasa 79,2%, dan desain 88,3% dengan kategori sangat berkualitas. Persentase kepraktisan produk 89,71% dengan kategori sangat berkualitas. Keefektifan produk menunjukkan persentase 67,34% dengan kategori baik. Anak dapat menunjukkan ekoliterasi aspek sosial emosional saat dibacakan buku cerita “Banyubiru” antara lain: (1) mengenal perasaan sendiri dan mengelolanya secara wajar dalam merespon kejadian yang ada dalam cerita misalnya dengan berkata “kasihan amat”, “aku juga ingin membantu”, “aku mau mengurangi sampah plastik”; (2) mengetahui perasaan tokoh dalam cerita dan merespon secara wajar; (3) anak mengekspresikan emosi yang sesuai dengan kondisi yang ada (senang-sedih-antusias, dan sebagainya) terkait kejadian-kejadian yang ada dalam buku cerita.

This study aims to describe the development of the interactive folklore book “Banyubiru” for ecoliteration of the social-emotional aspects of children aged 5-6 years including (1) the development process, (2) the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the book being developed. This study uses a research and development (R & D) approach to the Planning, Production, Evaluation (PPE) model according to Richey and Klein (2009). The method used is descriptive research. The research results are as follows. (1) At the planning stage, a literature study and field study are carried out. The data obtained were analyzed to make a design of the folklore book "Banyubiru". At the production stage, a storybook prototype was made. At the evaluation stage, product validation was carried out to 3 experts and 5 practitioners, and field trials were limited to 6 children aged 6 years. (2) The validity of the material / product content developed was 78.8%, language 79.2%, and design 88.3% in the very high quality category. The percentage of practicality of the product is 89.71% with very high quality categories. The effectiveness of the product shows a percentage of 67.34% in the good category. Children can show ecoliteration of social emotional aspects when reading the story book "Banyubiru", among others: (1) recognize their own feelings and manage them properly in responding to events in the story, for example by saying "very sorry", "I want to help", I want to reduce plastic waste ”; (2) know the feelings of the characters in the story and respond accordingly; (3) children express emotions in accordance with existing conditions (happy-sad-enthusiastic, etc.) related to events in the story book.
