PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR IPS BERBASIS POTENSI LOKAL WILAYAH CEPU UNTUK PESERTA DIDIK SMP KELAS 7 DI BLORA
DEVELOPMENT OF IPS TEACHING MATERIALS BASED ON THE LOCAL POTENTIAL OF THE CEPU REGION FOR CLASS 7 SMP STUDENTS IN BLORA
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar berupa modul yang berbasis potensi lokal wilayah Cepu pada materi “Kegiatan Ekonomi Penduduk” dan mengetahui kelayakan serta efektifitas modul yang di kembangkan pada peserta didik SMP kelas 7 di Blora. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan prosedur pengembangan ADDIE. Desain penelitian yaitu one group pretest posttets. Lokasi penelitian berada di empat lokasi yaitu SMPN 5 Cepu, SMPN 1 Cepu, SMP Islam Cepu dan SMPK St.Louis Cepu. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 99 siswa. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan metode observasi, instrumen, tes, wawancara, studi pustaka dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan analisis inferensial. Kelayakan bahan ajar diukur dengan uji validitas ahli desain dan materi. Efektivitas diukur dari hasil belajar yang dianalisis menggunakan uji Paired Sample T-Test dan dikategorikan menggunakan N-Gain. Hasil penelitian yaitu (1) wilayah Cepu memiliki potensi lokal yang sangat relevan dengan materi pembelajaran IPS; (2) modul berbasis potensi lokal wilayah Cepu “Sangat Layak” digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPS dengan hasil validasi ahli media 3,33 dan validasi ahli materi 3,58; (3) Peningkatan hasil belajar pada aspek pengetahuan dengan nilai rata-rata N-Gain dengan kategori cukup efektif.

The purpose of this study was to produce teaching materials in the form of modules based on the local potential of the Cepu area on the material "Population Economic Activities" and to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the modules developed for 7th grade junior high school students in Blora. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) research with ADDIE development procedures. The research design is one group pretest posttest. The research locations are in four locations, namely SMPN 5 Cepu, SMPN 1 Cepu, Islamic Middle School Cepu and SMPK St.Louis Cepu. The sample of this research is 99 students. Collecting research data using observation methods, instruments, tests, interviews, literature studies and documentation. The analytical technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis and inferential analysis. The feasibility of teaching materials is measured by testing the validity of design and material experts. Effectiveness was measured from learning outcomes which were analyzed using the Paired Sample T-Test and categorized using N-Gain. The results of the research are (1) the Cepu area has local potential that is very relevant to social studies learning materials; (2) the module based on the local potential of the Cepu area "Very Appropriate" is used in social studies learning with the results of media expert validation 3.33 and material expert validation 3.58; (3) Improving learning outcomes in the aspect of knowledge with an average value of N-Gain in the quite effective category.
