            Deiksis sosial merupakan perujukan kepada identitas sosial dalam suatu tuturan. Deiksis sendiri berarti perujukan, di mana referennya dapat berpindah-pindah, bergantung konteks yang melatari tuturan tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat dua permasalahan yang diteliti. Permasalahan pertama yaitu bagaimana jenis deiksis sosial dalam film Sen To Chihiro No Kamikakushi, dan yang kedua bagaimana fungsi deiksis sosial dalam film Sen To Chihiro No Kamikakushi. Rumusan masalah pertama dianalisis dengan menggunakan teori yang mengenai jenis deiksis sosial dari Levinson. Rumusan masalah kedua dianalisis dengan menggunakan teori mengenai informasi sosial dari Yan Huang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Pendekatan kualitatif dipilih karena data yang dianalisis adalah tuturan yang memerlukan deskripsi dengan kata-kata. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode simak bebas libat cakap. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah film Sen To Chihiro No Kamikakushi.

Hasil dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan adalah sebagai berikut. Dari hasil penelitian ini ditemukan 42 data deiksis sosial dalam film Sen To Chihiro No Kamikakushi yang digunakan sebagai sumber data dapat dibagi ke dalam dua jenis. A. Jenis pertama adalah deiksis sosial relasional menemukan 22 data. Jenis ini terdiri dari tiga kategori. Kategori pertama adalah "penutur dan referen" penggunaan nomina berupa sonkeigo, verba berupa sonkeigo, dan adjektiva berupa sonkeigo. Kategori kedua adalah "penutur dan lawan tutur" penggunaan verba berupa kenjougo. Kategori ketiga adalah "penutur dan latar" yang dapat berupa ragam bahasa formal dan tidak formal. B. Jenis kedua adalah deiksis sosial absolut menemukan 20 data. Jenis ini terdiri dari dua kategori. Kategori pertama adalah "penutur yang berotoritas" yang dapat berupa ragam bahasa sesuai gender penutur dan ragam bahasa sesuai usia penutur. Kategori kedua adalah "penerima yang berotoritas" yang dapat berupa ragam bahasa sesuai gender penerima, dan ragam bahasa sesuai usia penerima.

Fungsi deiksis sosial yang dapat ditemukan dalam film Sen To Chihiro No Kamikakushi ini total 33 data yang dapat dibagi ke dalam empat kategori. A. Untuk merujuk kepada kelas sosial, yaitu kelas sosial penutur dan kelas sosial lawan tutur. B. Untuk merujuk kepada hubungan kekerabatan, yaitu hubungan yang jauh dan hubungan yang dekat. C. Untuk merujuk kepada usia, yaitu usia penutur, usia lawan tutur, dan usia orang ketiga. D. Untuk merujuk kepada gender, yaitu gender penutur, gender lawan tutur, dan gender orang ketiga.

Social deixis is a reference to social identity in a speech. Deixis itself means reference, where the referent can move from place to place, depending on the context surrounding the speech. In this research there are two problems studied. The first problem is what type of social deixis is in the film Sen To Chihiro No Kamikakushi, and the second is how social deixis functions in the film Sen To Chihiro No Kamikakushi. The first problem formulation is analyzed using theory regarding Levinson's types of social deixis. The second problem formulation was analyzed using Yan Huang's theory of social information. This study used descriptive qualitative method. A qualitative approach was chosen because the data analyzed is speech that requires description in words. The method used is the free-to-engage listening method. The data source for this research is the film Sen To Chihiro No Kamikakushi.

The results of the research that has been carried out are as follows. From the results of this research, it was found that 42 social deixis data in the film Sen To Chihiro No Kamikakushi which were used as data sources could be divided into two types. A. The first type is relational social deixis which finds 22 data. This type consists of three categories. The first category is "speaker and referent" using sonkeigo in the form of a noun, sonkeigo in the form of a verb, and sonkeigo in the form of an adjective. The second category is "speaker and interlocutor" using kenjougo in the form of a verb. The third category is "speaker and setting" which can be a variety of formal and informal languages. B. The second type is absolute social deixis, finding 20 data. This type consists of two categories. The first category is "authoritative speakers" which can be language varieties according to the speaker's gender and language varieties according to the speaker's age. The second category is "authoritative recipients" which can be language variations according to the recipient's gender, and language variations according to the recipient's age.

The social deictic function that can be found in the film Sen To Chihiro No Kamikakushi is a total of 33 data which can be divided into four categories. A. To refer to social class, namely the speaker's social class and the interlocutor's social class. B. To refer to kinship relationships, namely distant relationships and close relationships.  C. To refer to age, namely the age of the speaker, the age of the person speaking, and the age of the third person. D. To refer to gender, namely the gender of the speaker, the gender of the person speaking, and the gender of the third person.
