PENGEMBANGAN IDENTITAS VISUAL JAMBORE GTK HEBAT BERBASIS KEARIFAN LOKAL
DEVELOPMENT OF THE VISUAL IDENTITY OF JAMBORE GTK HEBAT BASED ON LOCAL WISDOM

Jambore GTK Hebat of West Java Province is an event aimed at enhancing the competence, creativity, collaboration, and appreciation of teachers and educational personnel (GTK). However, the existing visual identity has not been standardized and has not optimally represented the event’s values, character, and local wisdom of West Java. This study aims to develop a local wisdom-based visual identity for Jambore GTK Hebat of West Java Province that is more standardized, ideal, relevant, and representative. The study employed the seven-step Design Thinking method by Gavin Ambrose and Paul Harris, consisting of define, research, ideate, prototype, select, implement, and learn. The development process began with understanding the project brief (define) and analyzing the 2024 visual identity (primary research), followed by audience preference research (secondary research), idea exploration, prototype creation and validation, and the selection of the best design in the select stage. The chosen design was then implemented into a Graphic Standard Manual (GSM), which includes the logo, typography, color palette, supporting elements, and various implementation media. The developed visual identity achieved a feasibility score of 94.5%, which was categorized as highly successful, based on the final evaluation and feedback from end users in the learn stage.
